A trip to London? wow nice
What did you guys see? Is London any good or is it in bad shape?
I think I managed to pass with everything, I managed to score better in IT, Lit, History, PE, and worse in Physics lol
Now I have 2,5 sweet months of holiday and I can read at least 100 mangas xd
My major studies are history and literature so I have to be good at them lol
I haven't done anything noteworthy this weekend, I tried to relax and forget about the problems I'll be facing really soon. That's about it, I guess =/
You?
If you get a 1 on a subject at the end of the year, you are dun goofed and you have to take a re-take (exam). If you fail that too, then you have to redo the whole year again.
So far the simple grade system goes like this (the subjects in the brackets are according to how I'm standing right now)
5: excellent (History, English, IT, Music, Art)
4: good (Literature**, Hungarian language, German, Geography)
3: satisfactory (Math, Chemistry, Media)
2: sufficient (Physics, PE*)
1: insufficient (-)
**But I only need one top grade to make it into the excellent range =/
*I actually got a bad grade on PE because I didn't attend 90% of the special classes in the first semester.
As a sidenote, I barely study anything for History, Literature and English and I get the best results, while I can study hours for Chemistry and still fail horribly xD
Yeah, our system is something like that too, we have smaller tests, oral exams and bigger tests (=exams), in the end we get a mean score, and that's how we get our grades on the grade card. We have a 1-5 scale, in most subjects getting a one means you failed, you get the better grade if your mean score is over x,5 (for example, if your score is 1,51, you get a 2, if you have a 2,51, you get a 3, etc.). Although there are some classes were this system is a bit more strict. My Math teacher gives the better grade if your mean is above x,7 (currently I'm 2,77, which means I get a 3, IF I manage to get an average or better grade on the last test next week).
My exams went well generally, got a 3 on Chemistry and Geography (1 is worst, 5 is best grade), a 5 on Literature, History, Math and a 4 on German. And as usual, I got another 5 on my English test and another 5 (or two fives) on my English oral exam. Making it 18 fives in total. I've only got the best grades on English language the whole year :D
Got two 5s on IT, one for making an Europass and one for my notebook. I'm the worst at Physics currently and will always be
That's about it, and of course I have the best grades at Music and Art, but they don't require too much skill and intelligence, so it's not a big accomplishment. And how did you do on your exams? :3
I have to write an essay about my favorite sport (thankfully it does not have to be true, since I'm not good at the sports department xd), I can include sport history also. I have to make it because I didn't visit the special gym class that often, so the essay is neccessary for me to get a grade.
Yeah, that is why I don't like the HS expansions, they are so costly and take so much time to grind, and while you are grinding everyone else already has them and you become the underdog.
France? I hope you'll enjoy being there, although the Parisians are not really friendly folk, but it might be because they just look down on us poor Eastern Europeans =(
Just remember, chronologically Fate/Zero is the first, but watching it will spoil many things you are not supposed to know in the Fate/Stay Night and F/SN UBW series'.
I'm doing fine also, I'm over all my important exams, only a smaller maths and possibly a literature one is coming up. I'll also have to write a 3 pages long essay about my favorite sport to my special gym teacher xD I wish I had any idea on how to write an actual essay, not a half-assed baby one I had to write in elementary :S
Thanks dude! <3 I was tryharding so bad
although I didn't really study much at home as always
Wow you got bored of HS right now? But a new expansion has arrived and it has really awesome cards.
Even tho you still have to pay 2 months worth of grinding/daddy's money, like the scum Blizzard are
Yeah I have seen the Fate series. Well, the original 2006 one (Fate/Stay Might) is pretty solid and mediocre in my opinion, but compared to the newer installations it's definitely of lower quality. Fate/Zero was pretty good, really good animation, story and characters, altough I like the F/S storyline's characters better. Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works is pretty good, has excellent animation, good characters, but I think it was a bit lacking. The fights were not really interesting and the focus was more on character monolouges. But overall it's still really good. The second season is already more action packed, finally. You should definitely check them out.
But beware, storyline wise it's F/Zero ----> F/SN(2006) /F/SN Unlimited Blade Works. However, watching Fate Zero before F/SN spoils a lot of things you are not supposed to know.
How are you doing swiggy? =)
Sadly I decided to stop competitive Hearthstone, I'll only play if a friend invites me =/
And I got the best grade on my math exam, I can't believe it.
Wait, you did bad on your dutch? How'd you do that xd
Congrats to your results!
Well, I got the best grade on literature, second best grade on math (I'm so proud of myself T^T), and I got the worst grades on chemistry, hungarian language and physics xd
It's okay, I still have time to get up my grades, and it's the first time getting the worst ones :'-)
I wrote my big German test today, it felt surprisingly easy. I feel like I did good.
Hey! ≧∇≦
I'm doing fine thanks. Last week was full of tests so I was very busy (and to some extent, I still am).
Sorry, right now I'm busy playing another game, but maybe tomorrow we can play some HS?
Did you do good on your tests btw?
