i somewhat agree with but am also simutenously confused with a good amount of your points with your chainsaw man review

particularly the MHA point

Firstly, I would disagree, a lot of the fights look amazing and secondly, you seem to not get what kind of story this is, you wouldn't critique Steins;Gate for not having good fight animation right? Chainsaw Man is not the type of story that is great because of its fights, so to an extent I agree, these are not all that special, but Chainsaw Man isn't special because of its fights.

Even then, what are you talking about, the fights look smooth as heck and are directed way better than anything from MHA. You know, it's not 2D, but that doesn't mean it's poorly animated. Heck, even that would be wrong, a lot of the stuff is 2D after all, plus probably the best looking 2D background zombies ever animated. So either you're saying you don't know anything about animation and that 3D overall just sucks (which it doesn't, have you seen Spider-verse?) or you don't understand the difference between detailed animation like in Chainsaw Man and Violet Evergarden and Sakuga animation like in One Punch Man or Mob Psycho 100. Those are just two different styles with very different effects, neither is better than the other.

I am sorry, but in what way does MHA look better then CSM, one of, if not the most beautifully produced shows of the decade. I mean, MHA isn't terrible, but it is no where near something like Violet Evergarden or Chainsaw Man, so, I don't see what you are talking about. Another thing, parents dying, sure that's generic, but I have never read or seen a story where said parents only matter because they were assholes and left the main characters with an impossible to pay debt. So, in conclusion, yes, the show you are describing in your review does sound mid as f*ck, but you dismiss so much nuance and widely miss represent certain aspects of the show, so I don't think there is any value in a judgement derived from such an objectively bad overview over a show, which could have been criticized in so many more interesting and thought provoking ways. As it stands now, the only thing your review did, was lead me to wonder what would make anyone write such utter nonsense. I can accept that you did not like the show and just widely didn't understand it, but if you aren't able to understand the things you are talking about, then don't talk about them, it's that simple.
