Reading your POTN review was cathartic, thanks a lot for writing it up. The abuse the mc suffered that was romanticized by both author and readers is unhinged. I remember that the disconnect of how I perceived the story (felt mildly traumatized by the sexual violence) vs. others' nonchalance ("sad pretty boi uwu") honestly impacted me a lot in a very negative way. Anyway, it's been a while since I've read it but I'm still glad to see that someone shares my same thoughts on the story.

i came from your killing stalking review, and it was phenomenal. you practically wrote a whole essay and it was really good. although at some points i feel like you were criticizing the fanbase & author rather than the actual art. however, it was a great review nonetheless!!

If someone had told me that I'd feel a shred of sympathy for Reiner after what he did in s2 then I'd tell them they're probably mad. But I kinda do a lot now, he's just from a country who brainwashes the 'warriors' into thinking Eldians are wrong. Oh yes the manga, i felt the same! And Armin is my mostttt favourite AoT character :D

ahh pretty privilege! *cough cough* sangwoo *cough cough* ehhh sorry but who's zuko? ( ´ ▽ ` *) One of the best character development is honestly Reiner and most AoT characters in final arc (i see Reiner's your fav anti villain, good taste!)

that's how most reader logic works like- a character could be the worst person ever, they'll hate him and all for a few chps but then BAM- his tragic backstory comes up, and suddenly he's a saint in everyone's eyes. Redemption arcs are nice but a fandom defending an abuser and r*pist? No, thank you ( ´ ▽ ` ;)
BJ Alex is good! The main character is kind of a prick at first but it gets sooo amazing in the later parts. I didn't like it much for the initial 30-40 chapters, the good arc starts after chp 40

It's so insane how the shippers overlook the fact that Seungho legit r*ped him, that scene was uncomfortable :( But eventually, I know people will forgive him because seungho has a 'tragic backstory' apparently. Btw Have you read BJ Alex?

I love your Painter of The Night review! You wrote exactly what I thought about the series, the art is very good but the story is repetitive and Seungho is unlikeable. Idk why people still want him to end up with Nakyum when they're clearly so toxic together :/
