Originally from Italy, in Belgium since five years.

Been watching anime for as long as I can remember, starting with some 1980s and 1990s classics like Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Ranma 1/2, Kimagure Orange Road, Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon, and ofc Dragon Ball.

The anime that changed everything for me was Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was love at first sight, and I still consider it the best ever produced (in terms of originality, writing, characters, themes, music, and animation.)

Evangelion made me fall madly in love with Gainax and all of its productions. Some of my favorite anime are in fact His and Her Circumstances, FLCL, and Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi.

I'm also a huge Studio Ghibli fan (but who isn't, am I right?) and my top five movies of theirs are: Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, and Laputa Castle in the Sky.

I also like comedy and rom-com anime a lot. I know they're often all very similar, but they have a calming effect on me and they make me laugh. Some of my recent favorites are: High-Score Girl, Komi Can't Communicate, Teasing Master Takagi-San, and Aggretsuko.
