I stopped watching anime regularly 5 years ago. I forget what Nisemonogatari even is.

My one piece of advice to you is that you'll be a happier person if you spend less time attacking people because you disagree with their tastes & opinions. When I watched anime it was because it expanded my imagination and filled me with a sense of wonder. I loved debating the merits & interpretations of various shows, but I tried to keep it all in the name of better understanding the medium and appreciating it deeper. The times when I got caught up in going after other fans because I didn't like their opinions were the times I felt furthest removed from that sense of magic.

Taste in anime shouldn't be wielded as a weapon. Appreciate the things you like, seek out discourse that bolsters that, and don't get bogged down worrying about if other people have your same perspective. Most people won't, and that's okay: it's what makes the world interesting.

When a show is not getting some love, people will tell others to watch it and when it gets popular people will call it overrated. In short "popular thing bad". I hate weebs so fucking much. Except demon slayer, that's one big pile of shit.
