I watched the second season, not the third. May have to give a go now though. Kinda stopped watching anime though which is kinda sad lol.

I'm also replying to this really late lol. You make good points, I understand your perspective as well and am glad I could hear from a fan of the series. I actually re-watched it not long ago and enjoyed it much more (though it may have been because I watched it with some friends), but regardless the show is surely not bad.

good opinion

Kaguya-sama is a series that is most enjoyable if you like its comedy and it makes you laugh. There are also those moments that are just so wholesome and honest that you cant help but smile.

It starts out as this game full of lies and deception, but later drops its initial premise to fully unravel the inner workings of Kaguya and Miyuki. Its a psychological character study of the human mind (speaking about the manga). Most anime onlies dont even realize this is a psychological series yet.

I'm just glad you like it. I think the build up and payoff was incredible, but I understand why you thought it was okay. Dont let the hype give you false expectations.
