reigen gonna go out of business when mob stops working for him and his other psychic finds his new purpose. reigen is then gonna have a villian arc where mob has to stop and KILL his former mentor. right before mob is going to land the final blow on reigen, he hesitates which reigen uses as an opportunity to kill mob. the end. and yea pretty good season so far
100%. I've talked to friends about this and I think we mutually agree that Isayama lost that touch of nuance that made him truly special. Though, I'm not the best dude to discuss AoT with, lmao. I've been reading for ~a year, and that's just been a 5-10 minute chapter every month. Not exactly sure how to articulate this, but it's one of those works where I don't feel the urge to view it from a thematic angle. Not to say that it doesn't have some intelligent theming, but that part of the narrative isn't at all what interested me about AoT.
It's a literal war out there of people who loved the ending and people who felt betrayed. I'm somewhere in the middle, I don't think the ending was that terribly written, it's just incredibly disappointing thinking of what AoT could've been. The series had a scope unlike any other, or well.. a plausible scope. I expected another 4 volumes of crazy revelations but I guess Isayama just wanted to throw out all his cards and end it.
I haven't enjoyed much of the final arc so it doesn't come as a big surprise to me. I still highly respect Isayama and AoT is ultimately his first serial work(?). The dude worked 11 years with not one break and broke records. I'll still rate it as a 6 or 7, but the final arc left a sour taste in my mouth.
Also worth nothing that my tastes have drastically changed since starting the AoT manga, maybe one day I'll reread the entire thing for a more grounded opinion but today is definitely not that day! How'd you enjoy it?
its good, probably something u would like. the thing is that the movies are not in chronological order so might be confusing a bit for the first two movies if u watch it in release order which i am doing. some ppl say to watch it in chronological order so u can understand better, but idk if that would be better or not.
damn one day u riding aot like u ride reiner and the next day you dump him, where your love at? Like Mr. Brown said, "These hoes are not loyal" smh sadgeL
its fine cuz imma watch it solo, and dont be try to discourage me, manga hoes like u always be doing this shit smh. just cant leave a man alone and let him look forward to the next season. thats a sadgeW as they would say
