2016/19 YEAR OF THE WRECKING BALL
and here I am to top it off There's been some slight chances to this site, luckily not too much. but blog post are limited to referencing a show. In the mean time I hope to catch up with some old acquaintances on here, add some shows and manga whilst i've been away and fix whats below this of broken images/hyperlinks. I'll try and read your messages but no promises Dub Studio Listing [spoiler] Being such a dub addict I have to put this in order (1= highest 8=lowest) [list=1] [*]Bang Zoom - There's no doubt these people know what they're doing spcially under direction of Mr.P.Shermen. Plus there's oodles of actors/actresses that I admire, from Mona Marshell to Michelle Ruff. [*]Funimation - More a less to this date, with it's cast, a copy to ADV. It would have been the case that you'd only here such people like Eric Vale, Lura Bailey or Catlin Glass, now it's only more evident that ADV cast are working for Funi. [*]Ocean Group - Bandai Visual and Geneon used this studio quite a lot and in early years even Funi did, the best thing to come out of them to date is Black Lagoon/Shana, and it's always nice to here a change of pace of actors that of America [*]NYS - Just as much as ocean group, it's a nice change of pace to listin to others. Notable you'll find a lot of 4kids actors here, but to hear Dan Green out from playing card games, to seeing Mike Pollock going for higher stakes other then catching hedghogs is a treat to the ear. Though I kinda feel that Lisa Ortiz and Veronica Taylor are the only things going for them [*]ADV studios - at the begging they weren't much and such cock ups with Dir Steve Foster made it worse, but in later years they started to pick up, unfortunately not for long (RIP) [*]Viz studios - OK so mainly there's a lot of people from the bang zoom studios that may appear here, but then why is the main protagonist so crap D:< (yes Naruto where talking bout you smoking habit) [*]Bluewater - part of the ocean group based in Alberta, Canada. Who knows these actors, are they even worth knowing. It can be just bearable to listen to the dub, just brace yourself [*]Any Hentai studio - pretty self explanatory, with such feckin plonker alias like Long Dong Silver, how anyone can take that performance seriously "HOLY CAPSLOCK THAT GUY KNOWS HOW TO ORGASM!" [/spoiler] --------------------------------------------------------------- Visual Novel Corner Well not so much VN's but more along the lines of Adventure Visual Games (AVG), though still they contain traces of using visual novel elements. These are ones that I've personally tried and believe that beyond the simple choice of destiny lark. Galaxy Angel is by far the most excelling game I've been able to play. GA was thought up by Broccoli just as much as other original creative anime like Eva, Nadesico or Techi Mayo. The sole purpose was to create a franchise with the material, but compared to Nadesico where story's intertwined with games, GA's anime to game were completely different scenarios.To sum up, you play the role as Tact, a young commander of the Transbaal empire who has to lead the Angel brigade to victory against a military coup. What I admire about this game is that there's no mass of descriptive text, it's all you interacting with the characters or Tact mumbling to himself. The most thing that puts me in ewe is the 3D battle system during space fights, one blog described it as "better then the gundam games" now I'm not one to comprehend, but I can play this thing on my laptop and it still looks amazing. EDIT: THE TRANSLATIONS NOW DONE!!! (well over 7 months ago) Thing was I was so wound up on playing it, I'd completely forgot to update my panel. UPDATE: Aroduc has the sequal completed now to, just get from the same site. Preper Yourselves for Uber Angel Pwnage! Lighting Warrior Raidy You guessed it you play as a woman, who fights beast women, "1+1=" anyone. That's right a window, the plot may be transparent but the experience defiantly isn't. You play as Raidy, a twenty something year old warrior who can summon lighting (hence the name), who has traveled to the town of Sadd to find that there are no young people at all. Women where captured and taken to this nearby tower, men tried to rescue them but never returned, it's so sad (ugh). Anyhow the most promising thing to come out of this is the 3D dungeon crawling with simple turn based battling, much like how you see Doom or Arx Fatalis. Time to Escape the Windows Screen Saver! Brave Soul A very addictive game this was defiantly adapted for RPG fans alike. You play the role of "Rudy" a novice to be hunter and his journey to find the moon princess that he's had in his dreams for the past ten years on every full moon. The graphics are very simple, in a style that I can only describe as close to pokemon games for the Game Boy. The interesting development in this is that you can build relationships with characters by choosing certain missions and how you act on those missions, of course you still have some CG shots and full cast acting at major arcs. If you didn't already guess, we're talking bout her body My view on this is that it's a very admirable game that uses a different method on how you "get the girl", and as most RPG games it can be quite addictive in acquiring new items and cash. There are plenty of characters that can join your party, but you can only have a total of four members, where Rudy and Shell (his pet dragon) are consistent in the party. The only flaws i can point out are the hack'n'slash gameplay can be quite repetitive, and considering the age off the game, the sound quality of the voices isn't as clear as compared to most VNs'. it is interesting to know that peach princess are planning in translating the sequel too, but whether that can work on Vista 64bit or above is an entirely different mater. Princess Waltz Princess waltz tells the story of Chris Northfield and his journey to be the new king of Seven Central. You play as Fukamori Arata who assist Chris in achieving his goal by combining forces to form the Princess of the Sword, unfortunately the other princess get in the way since they need fight for the prince Chris's hand. Well all sorts of trouble gets underway then. Wondrous CG's, backgrounds and character sprites make this a game a colourful depth compared to any other, more-or-less on par with Shuffle!. the only minor thing is princess waltz is a kinetic novel, so the only choices the player gets are the card battles, or when it gets to the second part of the story. What was quite unique in this story was that whenever the main character was faced with a battle, the player took control of the fighting, ...with a card battle system. It's quite an unfamiliar way for battling, and i can only see it paring with the early Dragon Ball Z games. I will note the basic fighting since it describes it thoroughly in the game. First you par off against the enemy to decide who is attacking or defending, the second phase lets you put down the rest of your cards (as little or many as you have) for the power you admit for attacking or defending. The success works by either the power of your cards or the majority "coloured" suit of them i.e. Red cards overpower Blue, Blue overpower Green and Green Overpower Red. regardless of it being another h-game from peach princess, it surely focuses the player more on the plot then any other element of the game Now for my blue eye's white dragon I have only bought 2 boxsets in the past 04 months of 2011</a> |

I think I got lazy because of winter, so bike is good thing, I can move my ass and do something besides chasing my nephew (but it IS pretty tiring :P) And I live in a village, so I have a lot of space to take a nice walks ^^
I so agree with this weather - yesterday it was SNOWING here! In May! Everything started to bloom not long ago and it was so strange. I hope that it will be warmer soon...
You are right, it somethimes happen, when you watch some series and character seems okay at first, but later you want to get into your pc and kill it with your bare hands :P
Yeah, we indeed have very high compatibility. And it seems that you enjoyed Black Lagoon like I did :)
I really like shounen series, I admit it, but usually I choose which anime to watch completely on a whim. I want to watch series from various genres, as many as I can :) (but I dislike gore, bloody horrors and yaoi/yuri) Anything is good, as long it's interesting and characters are not annoying :D
