Fate/Stay Night (2006) was my first ever anime. Back then, it was a straight out 10/10 for me. It was what got me started on anime.
Sure, now upon looking back I've lowered my rating to 8/10 due to the availability of much better anime (especially in terms of art). However, I'll never forget the way I felt when I first watched F/SN and the final "士郎, あなたを愛してる".

The Nationalism becomes even more apparent when the Special Region is declared a part of japan arbitrarily, so the invading army and Leaders are considered terrorists and can be handled by the domestic forces. completely ignoring the Mutual Defense Treaty Japan and the US signed. so the operation would've been a JSDF-US joint Operation, not a JSDF one. but of course, the authors Right wing Nationalism brushes it aside.
Another case is when the Japanese JSDF and SFG managed to defeat Three highly trained Black Ops groups all at once. all from the three superpower nations no less. With the three Black Ops teams all being killed while the the room Japanese groups suffered only minor casualties. Yea...I think even the propagandists in the USA,Russia, and China would all know that there's no fucking way that their Black Ops team can take on three other Black Ops teams on their own with barely any casualties suffered.
Oh, and to add more salt to the wound? Regular JSDF soldiers can take on a Black Ops team and prevail, despite the black ops members possibly having years of experience. Man, is the Japanese military so cool or what?!....The author would do anything to make the military look better than it really is.
