I come from a geeky upbringing. My mom raised me on Star Wars, my grandmother raised me on Star Trek, and my dad raised me on video games. I never grew out of cartoons, and I don't care. It will give me something I can bond over with my daughter. I have been attending conventions since I was 18, and even started to cosplay a little the past two years.

I believe you can grow up while still enjoying the hobbies of your youth. You just have to learn to enjoy them more responsibly as you get older.
