I only recently started using it again after so many years. This was never my go-to site, especially once i took my big years long hiatus from anime and games in 2015
Terryman, you're already a choujin.
On a good note I finished reading the og kinnikuman anime arcs up to the episode 137.
Great payoffs at the end there for sure and both our favorites characters play big parts.
I'll respond more in depth about tatakae ramenman later in a bit, but indeed all the stuff about China, Mongolia and the mountains I think about like every week. Always joking about in daily life about leaving to train in the mountains of china and stuff like that, Toei really made those places so fascinating. It's great.
Here's the collection I have and the few manga volumes you'll need after 109. Buckle up for a god tier arc for the next 13 episodes.

Yeah absolutely, I'm down to watch scramble to the throne along when you catch up it looks amazing and how sick is it that we got it all subbed by Saiko.
I'd like to watch that new Urusei Yatsura too for sure. Watched a bunch of clips on youtube with Lum and Ran as kids and stuff it made me laugh. Very cute show. Glad to know that it's good.
The bleach return delivered on quality and budget, and I have hope for 80s oldschool style manly anime popularity to return too.
I feel like all the current slice of life trends and romance/high school anime ran their course and most people are getting really bored of it just based on the viewership and ratings that fighting heavy violent shows pull.
There are lots of discussions on M.U.S.C.L.E toys forums where people were baffled as to why wasn't this show around during the heyday of wrestling in america. Seeing how some of the cast was based on real wrestlers and how most of the moves and stuff like mixing up rules and arenas are near and dear to wrestling fans hearts. It really could've been like a niche dragonball.
Yeah chainsaw man sucks.. idk it's just a pretty gross show and writing is so basic.
In kinnikuman and ramenman there are so many concepts and silly ideas all the time that make you wonder like Benkiman flushing enemies down himself and burning inner strength. Both tons of hilarious good stuff, and also some of the coolest killing moves and manly tears finishers.
The characters named after asian dishes like Charsiumen, Somenman, still crack me up.
Yeah that episode with the ants, kicking the dog, and Paigumen was beautiful, I swear these are one of the only shows that pull off absurd resolutions that make sense.
It's fun to ruminate on how he's related to Ramenman in Kinnikuman.
Victory Ramenman is a brutal chojin.
I think he has some absurd amount of techniques throughout the series, like over 50 named.
The character designs are sometimes worse compared to the main series, but the main cast is great. It's not bad being episodic, but the more stretched out arcs are better for sure.
Yeah they love their fans, there are some guys on twitter in their 50s that submitted brocken jr., ramenman and other characters designs back in the day.
As far as Kinnikuman anime translation goes, Saiko are still releasing episodes, and they're up to 109/137, but that part is a kinda slow after the 2 s-tier arcs with Buffaloman and after. Can just read 3 volumes of manga where that leaves off and dive into Kinnikuman: Scramble For The Throne. Saiko have fully subbed the anime, but I haven't watched it yet. I heard people say it's the best and that it introduces a lot of new beloved characters.
And they're intending to translate Nisei later too.
I think it had influence on baki and naruto and other anime for sure with the styles and the poison hand.
That opening episode was something else.
Glad that you're enjoying it, I've been getting back into kinnikuverse too lately.
First few 100s episodes One Piece are so nice too.
Yudetamago even retweeted my ramenman fanart on his birthday, which was awesome.
I see you didn't take to the chainsaw man? It seemed okay until the last episode, and now it's gone downhill into an ecchi show.
There's irony in that it's creator has been roleplaying as his 3rd grader sister on twitter for 10 years lol. ..
Ah it's the dubbed censored version. Tragic.
