"I am thou, thou art I...
Hey there, nice to meet you and thanks for stopping by! Aside from my (obvious) hobby of watching anime and reading manga, I also like casually playing video games and lately I've been obsessed with the Persona series, if it wasn't obvious enough. Oh, and I like playing musical instruments, piano most especially.
When it comes to the anime I like, I mostly watch Slice of Life, and Comedy. I'm a sucker for heartwarming anime, but I'm open to watch anything as long as it interests me. When it comes to manga and light novels, you can see that I'm still really new to manga and light novels in general, so recommendations are welcome :>
I don't really do much here. You'll sometimes find me in AD and CD but I mostly lurk and play along in FG kek
Feel free to send me a friend request, comment down below, or send me a message! I like meeting new people and making friends, although I'm painfully awkward and not good with people, but I'll do my best ;w;
Let's get along well, yes?

so Igor in P5 can't be same with Igor in another Persona games..
here's another provocation xD
lol~
yknow, i think this is one hidden story (or overlooked by all those graphical whores?) in P5, i'm not a big fan of it but i know some little details about the game and imo what differs Persona series with SMT in first place is the story focus, gameplay is not much, they both are a "dungeon crawling" games xD
Persona explore more into individual that through their interactions they save the world from getting destroyed by "higher beings". within every individual exists "demons" and "monsters" which are could be good or bad depends on the individual who use them. That's the main core of Persona story, "to use demons within ourself to save the world from destruction" and the same reason why its very popular with Japanese society, Japanese people, they has built a "tradition" to see themselves as a part of society larger than family and nation, and they also has a thing for supernatural just like Chinese people but the thing is Chinese seem lost their interest in supernatural thing after the 14-17th century because the "traditions exchange" that happened with another nations (Europe, Africa, Middle East and Another Asia nations) and more focus into "real subject" (money and economy, ofc! lol~)
ah, i'm sorry if you think i'm talking about irrelevant thing with the topic, i guess i always do that whenever i talk to people, smh -__-
i just think that there is something that connects fantasy with reality, fantasies like games, novels, anime(s), etc., they didn't always have to come from something that don't exist in our reality. in most case, all those fantasies are made like a cooking process, the ingredients such as meats and veggies are the scenes or phenomenon that happened in our daily life. to make those meat delicious, the chef use some spices and techniques in cooking them, spices and techniques they are the imagination. well, you prefer a properly cooked meat than a raw one right? xD hehe
well, don't push yourself much though :)
i just curious about it because it was (and it is still) interesting to me xD
but you always welcome if you want to try to explore and discuss about Persona with me ^-^
Especially about Igor, lol~ xD
Yea I'm starting to notice that although I have just started watching Death Note and Working!! so I am slowly getting to older stuff as well.
I also just finished season 1 of Little Busters, but I just started Blend S and Inuyashiki so I'm all over the place, not to mention season 2 of stranger things just came out so i gotta watch that too.
That's probably safest to avoid spoilers, Yeah that's her, I hope she plays a decent role in the future.
Thanks for the clarification, hopefull I remember what they mean in the future so I won't have to ask again. :/
One Punch Man fans are a bit concerned for season 2 as the studio and director have been changed, I don't know much about eache studio or director but aparently the studio that did the first was pretty well liked so I hope it doesn't go down hill.
I hope your second attempt is more enjoyable. :)
Gaming can be pretty time consuming.
Sometimes it takes me ages to go back to something even though the plan is always there something else always jumps in front of the cue. haha
There are on or two things in the OVAs that still haven't been explained by the main series so it may be worth waiting until the first season ends at least just so you don't have anything spoiled however minor.
The whole purchased to be married thing is a bit odd to say the least, but maybe I am overthinking it, other than that the characters seem cool, I like Angelica(I think that is her name) she seems funny and like she gives Elias a bit of a shot in the metaphorical ribs when he needs it:)
I feel like an idiot but OP and ED?
I can certainly see how OPM wouldn't be for everyone it just tickles my funny bone.
Don't feel the need to watch on my account:)
I see you just finished with Attack on Titan season 1, what did you think,I've been planning to watch it as I have heard good things.
I have just finished watching the OVAs and first 3 eps of Mahoutsukai no Yome, It is pretty good so far.
How are you liking it?
Have you seen One Punch Man? It is a parody of super hero manga and comics in general and is very funny.
yes, but in P5, Yaldabaoth isn't Igor, they just using Igor appearance, that's why his VA changed (beside from a fact that Igor's VA was died at that time) xD
then who or what is Igor? :/
because of the "Gnosticism" theme of Persona series, think Igor is a kind of god who rules humanity but this concept isn't right because in P2 he was portrayed as servant of Philemon, a being similar with the Septentrion from Persona Devil Survivor 2, Ryouji from Persona 3 and Yaldabaoth from Persona 5. they all are the "watcher of humanity". so that theory about Igor is a god is ruled out. i think the next P6 should explore this one because Igor is the "only" recurring character from all Persona series and he is also have a overly-powerful power too (he CREATES Elizabeth/Theodore, Margaret and Caroline/Justine!!!) xD
lol~
Aside from Project Diva(which I have never heard of) I love all of those series's.
Kingdom hearts is a really cool series, some of the side games aren't as tight but the story is pretty good if a little crazy. :)
I've been a gamer/collector since I was a kid so I probably play far more than I should.
I also really enjoy Final Fantasy 6 7 8 9 10 and 10-2 if you like turn based rpgs like persona I would recomend some of these although they don't have the social aspect that persona does so well.
My day has been pretty terrible because my knees and ankles are sore as fuck from playing basketball but hopefully it'll be gone by tomorrow.
I will check out the first ep of each of those and see if I like them, all of them are new to me.
I have become addicted to Danganronpa lately I played through the first two and the spinoff, then watched all of the anime in preparation for V3.
I have it but I am in the middle of the new Middle Earth Shadow of War atm but when I finish that I am planning to play it.
Do you play many other games?
As for Gamers! I like the characters and the references to gamer culture but it gets pretty heavy on the romantic misunderstandings, if you can tolerate that it's not to bad.
I just hope season two tones it down a bit with that.
I tend to like comedy, horror, action and sci fi.
I tend to gravitate to shows about groups of people in school among others.
Some of my favorites are Assassination Classroom, My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul, Danganronpa(along with the games for the full story) and even though it's a cliche at this point I love me some Dragon Ball/Z/Super.
So how's your day been?
I just finished my hero academy, am watching the last episode of Gamers! and am trying to decide what to start next.
I am always looking for new like minded people.
It's nice to meet you also.
Watching anything new?
so is there anything in all those 3 games that mention about Igor and his past? :o
I mean, he has a vital role in every Persona games right? tbh i really curious about him~ xD
even in P5, there is a fake Igor right? so, who is he btw? :o
have you found in your games any reference about Igor origin? :o
