Well, it you can't remember, were they really worth watching then lol? You finished the college? Awesomeee. おめでとうございます。

Ehh, so far my Winter 2016 is looking like Musaigen no Phantom World, Boku dake ga Inai Machi, Dagashi Kashi, and Ao Kanata no Four Rhythm. I kinda stopped making preemptive lists of what I planned on watching since MAL's seasonal anime section really improved. I'd really recommend watching Boku dake ga Inai Machi. It looks like the season's powerhouse.

And Musaigen and Dagashi Kashi look like the season's gfycats due to limbo and Dagashi's character design.

Welp, welcome back lol. 2 years huh? Good luck with that. It can't be worse than first joining MAL, can it?

I have a lot of catching up to do as well. I took a break in the Fall 2015 season since not much was good anyways. I'm getting back into the seasonal grind again, and working on a new list layout.

Define strange. Like, FLCL strange? If that's the case, then I probably wouldn't like it.

Same here. Ayumi was always a favorite of mine because of Ayachi, but Ayumi vs. Chihiro was what helped me like Ayumi more. Y'know, I thought about letting Kaminomi pile up so I could just marathon, but I knew for a fact I wouldn't be able to withstand the pressure of everyone else enjoying it. It might just be because Kaminomi hasn't had a season in a while, but it looks like more people are starting to notice Kaminomi. Now people see that this isn't just a VN parody, so I guess I can be glad they decided to animate the goddess arc. He's reading the manga. Another friend of mine is into this season as well, so I'll try to get him into the manga as well. The friends I know who are watching this season are the opposite of your friends; they actually are interested in what is missing rather than complaining.

Yeah, now that I've seen more episodes I don't think they'll do an anime only ending. *reliefsigh* Perhaps they'll end it like you said, just like the previous 2 seasons with what's to come next in the manga. Maybe they'll use the last episode as shameless advertising for the manga. Speaking of the manga, do you think it'll end anytime soon? Like this year? I had suspicions it would end once the goddess arc ended but apparently not.

I would be fine with additional characters if they weren't so hideous. I had to close my eyes when that hideous sheman with glasses got a close-up shot. *shudder* I think dakki should be a character in the database, lol. Glad to know someone else isn't fond of the other characters. It seems like people enjoy the bowl-headed megane. I seriously don't see why. She reminds me of Kyousuke-osananajimi. I thought the lie jokes would just be jokes, but it certainly looks like it's going to be a plot device with the way they keep making it worse.

No, I did not know that. I already forgot what happened in Nekomonogatari. The only thing I can recall is Black Hanekawa in the classroom. Everything else is a blur. No worries though, I'll probably forget that fact soon enough, but that does not give license to expose more of the story that hasn't been exposed in the anime yet. I like short haired Hanekawa the best, and ep 5 (I think ep 5...) shows the return of Ararararararagi-san in such a heroic fashion.

I didn't think she would last very long, so I wasn't too surprised. I was a little surprised at how Oowada was the murderer. I thought his reason for it was a little stupid, but the backstory helped a bit. The anime rushed the backstory btw, and missed a lot of foreshadowing moments between Oowada and Chihiro. Were you surprised to find out Chihiro was a trap? I was. In the game, you can give presents to characters to help your relationship with them to get skills for the class court. I was trying to conquer Chihiro because I liked her his voice. That epiphany moment felt like finding out the trap from Haganai was actually female.

Discussing the show with me won't be pointless. I still remember my predictions and initial thoughts. The contest is still valid; I made my prediction after the events that happened in episode 5, meaning I knew Chihiro died but had no knowledge of who the culprit was at that point. My predictions for Genocider Shou was that she won't kill anyone. Same with Togami. Their personalities reflect murderer ones, but it would be too obvious, y'know? That's why I'm guessing Asahina (who has become my favorite character in the show recently) will probably kill or be killed sometime.

If you decided to play the game, I'm on the 5th chapter and counting. I'm glad I decided to play the game because the class trials are too fun to just sit and watch happen. They also last longer so you can feel the intensity for much longer. I don't think the anime is bad; it's just that the limitations of anime show sometimes, just like any other adaptation. Are the two characters you chose your favorites? Or did you choose by optimal archetypes?

Female titan who looks like Mikasa sighted. Let us begin the crazy fanart and titan fetishes. The commander guy? I think he's got a secret group working on some technology that can let them survive and he doesn't want everyone else in on it. Maybe the technology is becoming a titan which is why he killed the test subjects so no one else finds new weaknesses or anything. Episode 17 gave hope for mankind vs. mankind not being the only theme now. It looks like there are more aberrant titans. Who do you think will be the next death in the main/main supporting cast?

Charlotte got plenty of time in IS. Hell, she had the longest arc. Of course, that doesn't mean I don't want more time. If the story tailors more time for Charlotte, then I'm all for it. But the way I see it, another story-less IS means more of the same harem stuff, which means Charlotte and Laura will be lumped together in ways you don't like. I thought Rin needed more time. She became literally attached to Cecilia; you don't see either of them alone anymore. They're like the san-baka of IS, without a third member. Did MC-kun bother you at all in IS or were you too captivated by the harem to notice?

I started Hataraku Maou-sama! I can see why people were comparing it to Blood Lad. It made me chuckle a few times. I love the type of humor so far, and I'm wondering how in the world it escaped my PTW for that season.

So, we're almost midway through the summer season. What are your standings on the stuff you're watching?

Wait, you haven't seen WataMote? Pick it up. I didn't anticipate on watching it, but the buzz around it caught my attention. It's disturbingly moe.
LEGOF Jul 23, 2013 9:07 AM
おかえり No worries.

I've heard of Dog Days, but I haven't seen it. A quick look at the voice cast tells me I might enjoy it, but Zettai Bouei Leviathan proved my assumption that I would like any anime that had my favorite voice actresses in it. Is it worth watching?

They never explained anything. That just shows poor writing imo. How the hell could they finally see her all of a sudden? When did Menma wash her clothes? The ending obviously tried to force tears down and ended in a way that makes little to no sense. Aside from that, it was enjoyable. I was never much of a fan of Kiyano Ai's work because she always voiced characters I disliked, but her Menma was really good. I don't know why, but Naruko was my favorite. Honestly, I have no idea why.

Kaminomi is doing much better than I expected with adapting this into the time frame they're in. I can't wait to hear Chihiro sing and see how they draw the feels in that moment when she's on stage. I spread the gospel and got my friend into Kaminomi, but I think looking at pictures might have spoiled him in knowing who the goddesses are. Kinda sucks, especially because Ayumi vs. Chihiro was so fun to watch. I completely forgot the reason why the goddess arc started, lol; I was a little surprised when Kanon got stabbed but then I remembered. The music: 1 > 3 > 2. I love how Hayami Saori sings the OP now, although I'll miss Lia. Hopefully she does a cover of the song for an episode or something.

I think they might adapt more of the manga into an anime after this season. Hopefully they realize the fun of making it into an anime rather than worrying about it selling. That's wishful thinking, but oh well. My main fear is that if they know they don't have the green light to make any more anime, does that mean they're going to force an original anime ending? I would be so disappointed. If they can't finish the goddess arc in this season, maybe a fourth season would be teased at the end. However, the way it seems with how fast they're breezing through chapters, I suspect they'll finish in time.

Love Lab is so good. I disagree with you on the yuri stuff. It's entertaining on its own. I dislike the glasses characters, but like the red head tsundere. I'll admit I disliked her too, but her voice is nice. Imo, the anime should have been just Maki and uh... forgot her name. Wild one. Those two should have been the only characters. I enjoyed episode 1 a lot more than I did the other two because the other characters got in the way. Do you think the new characters are OK?

Well, if you were expecting a moe mahou shoujo... you were right. However, Type Moon is still Type Moon, so there is a serious story behind it. If you really enjoyed Fate, try another episode because it's reminiscent of the Fate series. I'm watching because I love Ilya, and thought she didn't get enough screen time or fanservice.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Araragi-san-less Monogatari so far either. 3/3 for bath scenes. I love short hair Hanekawa, but everyone else's new hair is bad. Backpack-less Hachikuji caught me by surprise. I'm reluctant to see Nadeko because her hair might be really bad. If this is going to be 25-26 episodes, then I'd be really happy. I don't mind having Monogatari for this long. In retrospect, I can kinda see what you mean by really slow pace. However, I have a feeling next episode will pick up because Shinobu made an appearance, and stuff will probably get real after that.

The trials of Danganronpa kinda disappointed me in the anime. I was hyped, but it went by so quick. The verbal bullets is a staple to the game, actually. I started playing the game, and I was told to finish it before the anime finishes, otherwise the game is no fun because I'll know who the culprits are. I rather liked the bullets, because they reminded me of Ace Attorney's "objection" and other speech bubbles.

Since I'm playing the game, it'll be harder to go about with this competition. However, since I'm not very far into the game, we can make predictions for characters who last longest (aside from MC, of course). Pick 1 male and 1 female. Characters who are off limits: MC-kun and mysterious girl. You and I both know they seem like very important characters. I'll pick Togami Byakuya and Ludenberg Celestia as the ones I predict will survive the longest. As for rules... The person whose predictions die first is the loser, which means the other person is the winner. The punishment? I have no idea. I usually come up with them, so here's your turn to come up with one.

Pick your two people soon though. I'll probably get further into the game on Friday.

I had mixed feelings about the new OP, but it's warming up to me. It wasn't an instant-loved song like the first OP, but it's still great. Which one do you like better? I agree, the whole snippet of a female titan that resembles Mikasa is such a bad spoiler. The new squad looks too capable to get eaten. They're treating titans like a hunting game; hell, they even have stats of kills and assists. I don't think much more despair will be happening titan-wise, but since people are corrupt I think there will be civil conflict. You might not see more titans feasting on your least favorite characters anymore if they keep this arc closer to the people conflicts. Then again the arc title says it's a prelude to something, so I might be wrong. Nonetheless, I'd like to see those wall worshipers die. I see Eren being unable to control his titan form like Aang being unable to control the Avatar state. It's powerful when they enter it, but they don't know how. This basement is going to be important, and I have a feeling word will get out about it and some important soldiers will ransack the place and piss Eren off or something. Maybe leave him with little to no clues. Then the titan fight starts and they have to find the culprit or something.

The father was said to be missing, so if he really is just missing, he's alive somewhere. I suspect he died, or is in some elite loner group outside the wall just waiting to be a plot device.

Yeah, Blood Lad is OK. Yanagi is cute enough to keep watching.

Recommendations? Uh... nothing comes to mind this season. It's good, but there isn't much that you haven't seen that I'm eager to recommend. If you really want one, maybe Inu x Hasami. If you have a hankering for bashing on MC-kuns this summer, he's already been demoted to a dog.

Yeah, I finished Infinite Stratos. It was on my PTW for ages because I wanted to see what Charlotte was like. She's great, although if I actually cared for the story I'd be angry at how they introduce each character with a story only to completely dump it and drop the girl into the harem. The second season apparently is going to be a revamp, so maybe there will be story?
LEGOF Jun 25, 2013 3:00 PM
Yeah, that's what I was telling the person who hacked Animal Crossing. If it wasn't you then I completely forgot who it was. I'm having no luck finding a job right now (no car makes things extremely difficult) so I don't know if I'll be able to get Animal Crossing anytime soon. I'm prioritizing Pokemon X or Y so my next $35-40 will be going towards my Pokemon XY Fund.

Last episode of Henneko iirc. I knew a feels episode was coming, and I was hoping I would actually shed a tear or something. Nope. What'd you think of Tsukiko's mom (her name escapes me) fainting? Also, I really wonder why Tsukiko buried Shota Yokodera under her shirt. Granted, I got really excited, but at the same time I was confused. I've also seen some merchandise, like nenderoids and cosplay outfits. Idk if you've seen that Tsukiko cosplay floating around which turns out to be a boy. I don't think Tsukiko will pair up with Yokodera in this next episode. Instead, they'll probably just resolve the Tsutsukakushi family conflict, and they will hint towards Tsukiko and Yokodera doing something, and then bam, Azuki Azusa storms in and wins the game forces an unclosed end.

Well, if they thought she was acting like a 3D girl, the writers did a good job. They were probably establishing that so the premise of her being an otaku felt a tad more realistic. Ha. Then they decided, nah, let's just do some otaku-pandering and bam, season 2 happened. But hey, I'm not complaining. Which season do you like better (barring episode 13 doesn't flop)? Even though they set the bar high, I'm not concerned. LOOK AT THE LINEUP FOR SUMMER. Kaminomi 3, Monogatari Series 2, and a bunch of OVAs of some great series like Tonari. I have high hopes for this summer season. What are you looking forward to?

I will note that harems will have a much harder time impressing me. Date A Live and OreImo. have done so well this season, it will take more than a great imouto to surprise me. Maybe two great imouto. Twins even. Maybe an actually good story that doesn't force me to go brain dead for 24 minutes.

I intended to do that for the first time I spoiled Oreimo but alas, laziness hath no bounds. It was an expected ending. What anime/manga/light novel doesn't end with the main female? It's as if competition is futile, and only there for fanservice. I think we would have believed it had this season not aired. Maybe I we wouldn't understand the Kuroneko part, but it seems plausible. Just as long as we're convinced Kirino went back to Japan. When those episodes air, the final chapter in the light novel will be released. Those episode most likely won't be the ending of the light novel. I'd take a season 3 over ending it those episodes as well, but it seems like the perfect end to it. That, or they just don't animate it and opt for an anime-only ending *shudders*

Tbh, I don't even remember the arcs not covered in the anime. I breezed through those because I was so intent on catching up. I won't be that disappointed if they skip or fastforward up to the Goddess arc. I mean, lots of people would complain that they're just rehashing the formula if they animated all those arcs. Or I could be wrong, they animate those arcs and we get a season 4! Yes? No? Am I being too greedy here?

Yes. We were doing a thing where we each pick an anime and we watch the first episode of it, then the next person picks, and we go back and forth. Because of that, I couldn't download anything on such short notice. My internet is poop. No one was seeding. Fairy Tale? OK, I heard that was really good. Guilty Crown? Hmmm... it was crap but everyone has something bad on their list. SAO? Why are you friends with him? Lemme guess, he streamed off crunchyroll? Ouch. I'm glad I wasn't a part of that. My egotistical side would have kicked in and raged hard. Is he blind? Does he not see the difference between 360p and 1080p?

I'll watch it. Eventually. I finished Ro-Kyu-Bu and Working'!!, but then I saw Infinite Stratos and was like, I need blu-rays now. Gotta watch this and wipe it off my computer after I'm done for AnoHana. Since I'm already halfway done, this shouldn't take much longer.

After these past few episodes: Eren OP? Looks like he can't even control his titan self. They were either gonna make him OP or give him a tragic flaw. I guess this is it. The next tragic flaw will probably be his emotions, the people, or a combination of both. That, or maybe they discover something about the titans that makes him go berserk again. Kinda like Goku when a full moon came, except not as cool. I thought they killed off Eren too, just like Gurren Lagann did with Kamina, who was also a MC. That would've been cool, but Eren was too much in the front of the cover that I had to doubt my own theory. If they do have to kill people off and can't touch the MCs, the Kirito character could die. I'm sure you've heard him and rage might have been unleashed. I know I did. Can't wait to hear him die if he does.

Well, I'll continue trying. Tbh, I haven't been practicing for the past few weeks. I never did get that marker board either. One day. One day...

The first time she was trying to say Takanashi-kun some blood came out of my nose. Asumin can play a moe role once in a while. I'm a little bummed there's no third season. I was really hoping they would tie the loose ends of the story, but I'm afraid not. It's not that I dislike Inami. She has her ups and downs, but her overload in screen time the first episode limits her from being enjoyable. How long ago did you see it?

Oregairu seems like something that's passing over my head. I can't tell if the show is showing genius, or boring story. I hear people raving about how his monologues are on Kyon's level, and that has got me a little reluctant to put him in such high standards. Perhaps it's because there are too many minor characters butting in every 2 minutes. It's hard to get a feel of what the important people are doing. Where do you rank it this season?

Yup. I still have yet to look into it. When this month is over, and I go and fill in this month's details, I might open up your sheet. Lol, laziness.
LEGOF Jun 14, 2013 9:17 PM
So jelly. I would love to get my hands on Animal Crossing, but alas, my money is needed elsewhere for now. That, and my mom gave me a lecture on how I have enough games and should be using my money more wisely. In a sense, she's right; I don't need Animal Crossing right now. I keep telling myself that. It's just a strong want. Have fun, but once I can get a copy, we must visit. I don't remember if you were the hacker, but don't hack your Animal Crossing this time. If you weren't: my bad, I mistook you for someone else.

Henneko dropped in appeal to me these past few episodes. I'm not sure why they're going through with this arc either. She's winning the battle, but she might not win the war. I don't know if Tsukiko will win the war by episode 12, unless they go for an anime-only ending. But that would most likely mean no season two, unless they totally screw up their storyline.

I was actually not 100% right with how it ended; I missed a few details. Here's if you want to be spoiled further:
****OREIMO END SPOILERS****

Kirino is a great imouto. So much tsun it's great. A handful of OreImo fans despise her though, 'tis a shame. Even though I'm a Kuroneko fan, I don't despise her. I'm actually quite glad it ended in wincest. My love for imouto is rising as I'm typing this so I'm going to switch topic.

Since there's no KuronekoXKyousuke, she's all mine!

I don't know if I want to read the novels... I haven't read the Monogatari novels like I had planned. There's a reason why I watch anime, and that's because I can see stuff. If I wanted good literature/stories I would read books. But since Kaminomi 3 is indeed coming, I have less reason to read novels. All aboard the hype train!

I tried AnoHana 1 recently. I had to stream it because I watched it with my friend. I shuddered at the quality; I haven't streamed in over a year and I almost puked at how bad it was. Was ignorance truly bliss? I'll be sure to download it, but I'm running out of room. Once I finish Working'!! and Ro-Kyu-Bu I'll delete them and make room for AnoHana.

I think they'll go overpowered MC just like SAO this time. I'll give it a chance as well because I'm already this far into it, but I have a feeling 7-10 weeks from now I'll be ranting with you on how I hate Eren while I constantly replay that episode where he got eaten. Hopefully we're wrong. Hopefully.

The thrills were what drove me. Maybe that's why I feel disappointed at OP MC: I don't feel thrilled at all. A power only he can get kinda takes the underdog feel they had. I mean, what the hell was all that training for if he can just hop in the Megazord and wreck havoc? Where's the devastation thrill? I'll find out tomorrow night. You're right that Shingeki has animation over SAO, but even Guilty Crown had superior animation and look what happened there. I remember I was one of those people who thought Guilty Crown was going to be amazing.

Lol, I'd imagine a lot of Asians in Hawaii. UIC is one of the most diverse universities in the US, but we have a running joke about being called "The University of Indians and Chinks/Chinese" because we have a crapton of Indians and Asians. I'm stepping into completely new territory with this Japanese class, so I shall anticipate and see. I'm saving these messages in Japanese for later in life when I can translate it myself. No, I won't use google translate because that's like I'm losing.

Working!! = 1st season.
Working'!! = 2nd season.
Popuracon isn't a character XD
Popura = character
Popuracon = Popura complex
Kinda like how I love Kuroneko, so I would be a Ruricon. She along with Yamada are so great I added them to my favorites. I don't know if I want them as imouto or daughters. I feel so in sync with Takanashi. Season 1 focused a lot on Inami X Takanashi, which is why I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. Season 2 is getting everything great about the cast and spreading the screen time. Even Takanashi imouto is getting more screen time :D

It's like smashboards, but more social and less competitive. I'm trying to be active on smashboards but the black skin repels me. I don't like dark websites.

Cool list. I've been working on an excel sheet of my own but I'm too lazy to pull it up right now. I added a formula to add all my days, minutes, hours, and titles completed/started/dropped. I might use yours some time if I ever find the will to. I'm too lazy to do the things even I want to do.
LEGOF May 20, 2013 4:12 PM
Nice job. That's a bummer you didn't get any cash for it, but my philosophy is that it should be something you should already be striving for, with or without additional rewards. My mom is very nice about giving money for events like these, so she gave me $40. I wish I had more, but I'm very thankful she gave me it.

I took a good handful of pictures at ACEN. I was pretty picky about who I took pictures of. I tagged you in one of them on facebook, go check it out if you hadn't already. It gave me hope in humanity. I was afraid I wouldn't see anyone from that anime. There were a good number of Kiritos and Asunas as predicted. None of them good.

Time for a long overview of my time there! Wheee!

My friend and I went the first day on Friday at 2, even though the event started at 12. We got off the train in Rosmont where the event was, and started following people cosplaying because we didn't know where the event was. After realizing we might be lost, we turn around and see the big Hyatt hotel where ACEN was and felt so stupid.

We waited for my friend's friends to come down and give us our badges. After that, we hit the gaming room to play some Smash. We were hoping for some open Wiis or gamecubes to play Melee or Project M on, but apparently there was already a Project M tourney going on that we didn't know about. We waited for it to finish and played some friendly FFAs. There were some good Smashers there. After spending a good number of hours there we walked around more, took more pictures, and then I went home for the first day. My sister had her college graduation on Saturday so I couldn't stay the night at my friend's dorm.

After the graduation, I got dropped off there. I went to a Yukino concert (never really heard of her; she had connections with Monkey Punch), which was my first concert. The atmosphere was pretty decent, although it paled to the major seiyuu concerts I want to attend. I then found out where the vendors were and I was so excited I almost soiled my pants. I picked up a Sakura Kyouko shirt and a Madoka nendoroid. I was about to get a Kyuubey shirt instead, but they didn't have any in my size (they were all women sizes).

My friend was in the middle of moving out of his dorm, so he came later around 6. I met up with him and we went to a kinky anime burlesque show ;)
It was great... It was very *nosebleed* entertaining. I'll never look at Misty or Tiffa Lockhart the same way ever again. After that we regrouped with his friends (they were working) and got more pictures while waiting for a hentai panel. We played some Mario Kart 7 and did a bunch of our street passes while waiting.

The hentai panel was pretty funny. There wasn't any category I didn't know about, but plenty of categories seemed new to the crowd. It was the first time in my life I felt proud about such a thing. After that we waited in line for the rave that night and left at 3. We chilled around, then went to McDonalds. My friend and I decided to stay there rather than go back to his dorm and sleep, so I went on that day without sleep. There was a Shakugan no Shana showing around 5 so we went to that.

Nothing exciting would happen until 9 so we were trying to find places to sleep. The workers kept finding us kept waking us up because people aren't allowed to sleep out of hotel rooms. We went to the game room, played some Double Dash until the vending area opened up. Turns out it didn't open until 10, and it was only 9, so we had an hour to kill. We decided to go to e

When we went to the vending area, there was a huge line to get in. I mean huge. It started inside and ended up wrapping around the building into the garage. The line wasn't actually bad since it moved extremely fast. We were able to get in within 12 minutes as opposed to the rave, which took almost an hour. It was his first time inside the vending area since he missed it yesterday, so I showed him around. I was waiting to meet Yuu Asakawa which started at 11:30. He decided he was exhausted and after he bought an 8-bit Cyndaquil bead he went back to his dorm to officially move out of it.

I was waiting happily in line and for my friend from UIC to show up. I got my crunchyroll shirt signed (I figured I would never wear it because I don't want to advertise them) and here picture in the Program Guide. She was selling posters of her for signing for $10 each, but I didn't have any more cash. I got a picture with her, but my eyes were closed... >.>

My friend from UIC came and I met up with him and went back into the vending area. After showing him the picture, I decided I needed to go back and retake it. I waited in line again, got a much better picture with my phone, and convinced my friend to go get a picture with her too. I got to meet his group of friends, and then went to a Hetalia Axis Powers panel with them. I knew close to nothing about it aside from it's a WWII ish setting. After that I waited in line for an 8-bit art panel, but decided it was time I should go because I needed to catch the train ride back home.

Overall, it was an exciting experience. I don't know whether or not it met my expectations, but it was thrilling. My main regret is not planning out better and noticing what kinds of awesome panels were there. That's my resolution for next year. That, and a Keima cosplay.

And so ends the story of my first anime convention. Hope you enjoyed.

I miss the Tsukiko of the first episode. I nearly collapsed when she said "Don't eat me! I don't taste good!" The emotionless Tsukiko is fantastic too, don't get me wrong. The closest story of the season I see right now is Oregairu, but I'm not even sure there is a contest going on in the show; it's supposed to be a wrong love comedy after all. I don't want to lose at all, I just love Azuki. Just watched Henneko ep 6. Azuki fanservice. Brb, need to change pants.

I will, thank you. I'll take your advise and start learning. I tried learning hiragana and katakana a long time ago, so some knowledge of it is still in my mind. I mean, I can kinda tell the difference now, but I still have trouble writing them out and matching the sounds. I might get a dry erase board actually.

I'm a Yui fan too. Yup, we can't compete in this one. I love her voice so much.

OreImo 7. Brb, rejoicing. Still not done. Kuroneko just took every waifu I might have had, made a pyramid out of them, and stood on top as a triumphant hero. My first true waifu since I considered Shana, Mikan, and Kobato as imoutos. Kirino's fake boyfriend actually looked fun in this episode. I think we might have gotten off on the wrong foot. That, or the Kuroneko hype is making me not see straight.

Oh, right... I never read any of the novels I was planning on reading. Maybe one day this summer.

Thanks, I appreciate it, but I think I'll be fine. I hope you have fun playing it. Tell me some of the new stuff they added since I haven't been paying much attention to it. Speaking of cartridges, Ace Attorney 5 won't have any. It's digital download only for America. What BS. Capcom went full business mode. Ah well. At least it was localized.

I get 300 kbs on a good day here at home :/ My school gives me about 1 MB, and the library goes from 1-2 MB. You hit 30? I can't find the motivation to play that much, great job. We should play sometime since I haven't played for nearly a month now.

No problem. I just finished up my finals myself. Now that school is over, it's time for a bummy summer (unless I go find a job I guess).

My friend said he got our badges and got the OK to go this weekend. All that remains is planning, I guess. I was anticipating I would still be in school around this time. Since I'm back home, I need a means of getting there. Hopefully I can carpool or take a train or something. He's planning on going all weekend so I'll see how many days I can go. Not entirely sure at this point, but hopefully these plans will go through. An otaku girlfriend? Wouldn't mind one I guess but there's a small percentage of them I would consider.

Sure, it's on. I knew Tsukiko would have a huge advantage (I didn't even know Azuki Azusa existed when I was looking at the manga description months back). She was just that spectacular that I knew I had to choose her win or lose. Since we both agree Tsukiko is winning by a landslide, she'll have to conquer the MC by a clear decision by the end of this first season. If she can't, you don't win, and I don't lose :D
You can hold on your photoshopping there; she ain't conquering nobody.

Hentai Ouji is really fun. That ED is nosebleed-worthy. I guess I do like Tsukiko better with her emotions. Or maybe it's just that mahou shoujo-like dress she wears. Hmm...

Oregairu is plenty fun too. I too was expecting a little more out of it, but I still think it's one of the more solid love comedies of this year. The comedy didn't feel recycled to me. I'm not a fan of the trap they have, although I must say Nao Touyama sang beautifully for the solo ED. Which brings me here: who do you like better: Yui or Yukino? Also, I found it funny how their names are repetitive. Yui Yuigahama and Yukino Yukinoshita.

You're spot on with how forgetful this show is. The first month after I completed watching it I was in full fan mode. I changed my desktops to them, as well as downloaded a handful of their songs. Then after a few more months I looked in my iPod and saw a song from iM@S and was like, "Oh yeah, this show." Then I realized how awful they were at singing. I was desperately wanting their games too but that quickly dissipated. It's like the SAO PSP game out there. I saw gameplay and it looked quite fun but I don't have a PSP and I can't read Japanese.

Which reminds me. Guess who's taking Japanese 101 next fall? Yup. This guy.

I was cheering when Kirino and Kyousuke were going out. When an imouto wants to go out on a date with her onii-chan, I'm a very happy camper.
OreImo S2 6 Spoilers:

Funny that you mention it. Hanekawa's appeal in my eyes dropped after I watched Kuromono. I was debating between her and Nadeko. Nadeko > Neko Hanekawa. I thought I would be more like you and have my biases already in place. It's shocking how much I am different than what I anticipate myself to be.

Welp, AC 3DS is out. My verdict is I can't get it yet. I need as much money as I can get for ACen instead. Perhaps if I get a job I can get it later in the summer. Have you bought it yet? The digital download version is 5 bucks cheaper. Would you rather have the physical copy or the cheaper digital download?

Thanks for reminding me. I need to follow up with YuruYuri S2. It's most likely better than that mini-series you're watching (not taking away anything from that mini-series though; YuruYuri is just really great). I'm in catch-up mode, but with slow wi-fi since my internet at home sucks. I need to go to the library and torrent there :/ Is your internet at home fast?

I signed up for an online class over the summer. I don't remember what time it was scheduled, but I hope it's not in the morning. 8 AMs over the summer? Shall I prepare a tombstone for you? What would you like me to engrave on it?

Tsukiko will probably win, but I still want something to compete in. I'm fine with choosing the character that most likely won't win. We should add some additional rules this time, since waiting for the "inevitable" end in these types of anime is just a ticking time bomb for me to lose. Let's add first to pair up? We need a third rule as well... Maybe first to confess or get confessed to.
So here will be the 3 categories, of which it's best 2 out of 3.
[x]First confession/first to get confessed to
[x]First to pair up
[x]Conquer the MC

I hope that seems fair enough, right? Of course, I made these rules without having read any Hentai Ouji, scout's honor.

What do you mean by not equal footing btw? I can't see either one having any upper hand, tbh. Yeah, Yui isn't in the same tier as Natsume, but she's very reminiscent.

Hentai Ouji is painfully entertaining. Yeah, she's a poor girl trying to pretend to be rich, but unlike Kaminomi, she's a character that matters. I think that Kaminomi rich girl was Mio. She's definitely not a popular character in Kaminomi, you're right.

Haha, that's definitely not right. Maybe in Shadow Dragon, but not Awakening. But the good news is that Animal Crossing is somewhere around the corner this summer. I'm not sure if I can get it very soon unless I find a job over the summer. Are you going to get it when it comes out?

Who are your favorite idols in Idolm@ster? I dislike how the blandest idols always get the most screen time. Freaking brown haired idols with hair like Haruka (I think that's her name) suck.

I remember I was a Kirino fan during S1. Now, I've transformed into a Kuroneko fan. Not because of HanaKana though. I've changed my favorite character in Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W as well, from Nyaruko to Kuuko. But since you haven't seen S1, :/

You ever done that before? First season, your favorite character would be ____ but then S2 or another season in the future, favorite character changes.

Bleh, I still have to watch it. I'm nearly caught up with every thing else, but now the episodes for that are piling up. Noooo. You should check out YuruYuri if you're into all girls SoL like that. I just finished S1. I'm not much of a fan for yuri, but that season made me become a fan of yuri in YuruYuri. Just there though, not anywhere else.

Leviathan hard to follow? Well, I'm not sure if there's much of a story really. It's like a hidden SoL so far, since they really aren't accomplishing a final goal or anything like that. Ah well, I'll continue enjoying it. Perhaps it was just the first episode that made it seem like there was a complicated story.

I don't remember if I watched Yuyushiki or Gargantia :s At this point, even if it was in my lineup, if I haven't watched it yet, I probably won't. It tends to happen.

When are your finals btw? I realized ACen is like, 1-2 weeks after my finals.

After I gave possible candidates for a competition anime another episode, I strongly believe Hentai Ouji and/or Oregairu are competition worthy. Which one(s) do you want to compete in? As long as we don't have the same heroine, of course. For Hentai Ouji I'm rooting for Azusa, and for Oregairu I'm rooting for Yui.

My punishment is soon to be over, and I shall never have to see Masuzu's horrible face on my page ever again. I got you this season, keep your eyes behind your head.

Hmm... now that you mention it, I think I AM watching Kaichou less frequently than I do my ongoings. I watch it in little spurts when I have nothing else to watch or I didn't download anything yet. It's still going, and I think I'm enjoying it. I think... I am a huge fan of the 3 idiots in the show.

Idolm@ster? Yeesh, it's been so long. Considering it was my first idol anime, I may unintentionally hold it to higher regards. I was obsessed with Miki, the blonde idol. I remember trying the first episode on crunchyroll a few years ago and decided it was stupid. I came back to it a year or two ago and was captivated by it. The idols are mostly great, but I don't feel that the best ones got enough screen time. Their OPs are extremely catchy, so that might hook you in. I know it did for me. What do you think about it so far?

After I gave Leviathan another episode, it seems better than I thought. Not by much, but it's something I can laze around and watch. HanaKana fairy definitely picks up a lot of its slack.

The MC-kun for Hentai Ouji doesn't try to be a pussy like MC-kun from Sakurasou or any other harem anime. I guess that's why I don't bash on him in my mind very much. I mean, I could totally relate to his perverted mind sometimes. Plus, it's a lolifest so how could I not watch? What do you think about it?

Oregairu's females aren't obsess-worthy, but I still appreciate Yui's bubbliness. She reminds me a lot of Natsume from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. Her Hikky reminds me of Natsume's Mitty. Both of which I loved. The other one is OK.

OreImo. ep 3 was pretty boring. I never liked Saori, and I still don't. Even if they purty'd her up, she's still imo one of the worst females in the show.

Muromi-san is decent. The comedy is OK, and the OP is amusing. I think I'll stick around with it.

Dansai doesn't look all that fun imo. Do you think different?

Devil Survivor 2 went over my head. I don't have much experience with VG adaptations, but it can't be that bad, can it?

Shingeki no Kyojin was in my lineup, but I didn't add my lineup to my list upfront because I knew I would forget some and they would fall by the wayside, forever burdened into my PTW without my knowledge. I was actually planning on watching this one, and my friend even reminded me. Hell, I reminded me. One day. One day... Hopefully it's not the SAO of this season. I just want to enjoy something that isn't ruined.

Haven't completed Railgun S1 at all yet, so IDK.

Suisei no Gargantia. I think I was gonna watch this one after I saw my friend watching it. Something about a mecha that is easy to start because this is the beginning.

I don't remember starting Yuyushiki, but I remember it being on my lineup list, I think. Rumor has it it's similar to YuruYuri. I'll finish YuruYuri before I dive into this one, even if it is a short episode length.
