There are tons of fun people on Anilist with great senses of humor, so I hope you find some more people you get along with and can have fuuuun with ;D And I totally relate to having a hurricane mind!! Writing my thoughts helps me get them out and calm my mental chaos, so maybe that strategy will work for you!

No worries about taking those 5 months to say hi! What matters is that you did, and that was very kind of you ^.^

I personally much prefer Anilist. It has a friendlier community and a lot more emphasis on the social aspect of the site. People have jokingly called it anime twitter haha and that's lowkey accurate because you can make posts that get seen in the site's Global Feed, and you can comment on your and other people's activity updates, like if you see someone you know watched episode 1 of Inazuma Eleven, you can comment on that and ask what they thought. I always post comments on my own activities talking about what I liked about the episode I just watched; it's a project of sorts I've challenged myself with, and it's a lot of work but it's rewarding!

I sound like I'm giving you a sales pitch for Anilist lmaoo I just really enjoy the website and have met a lot of great people through it. At the very least, it's a nice backup to MAL in case something happens and this site implodes ~~again~~ xD

Hello!! It's been a long time, and I just realized you sent this message all the way back in November—I'm so sorry for responding so late! I've pretty much migrated to Anilist at this point and only really use my MAL for updating my list/writing tags on mobile version, but I'm glad I went through my comments so I could see yours.
