so... just dropping by ~ to give you an advance greetings!
Have a nice weekend! Happy Mother's Day to your Mom!
I get emails from MAL too but I don't even open them lol
Anyways, make sure to tell me when you finish the series!
As for the kiss scene, Kaworu kissed Shinji because Shinji couldn't breathe at that moment, so he tried to use mouth-to-mouth respiration, lol. So yeah, it wasn't a very "romantic" kiss. xD I guess you aren't into yaoi and all that stuff, right?
Aaaaaaand v v
I watched Haruhi Suzumiya in airing order and I can say it was absolutely boring and tiring, lol.
Hmmm i would rate it a 7.. its true that it can be sometimes boring (i even skipped some scenes where they all just talk talk talk talk talk XD or i just dont care about a particular character xD)
Oh btw i just finished the show woohooo
Just read the threads that I'm going to post down below and decide whether you want to watch the series on airing or chronological order.

As for the Endless Eight arc, I HIGHLY suggest that you only watch the 1st, 2nd and the last episode of the arc. The 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th episode is just a time loop with slight animation changes. You'll immediately notice the animation changes if you decide to watch all of Endless Eight. The reason why you should only watch the 3 episodes of Endless Eight is because the 1st episode starts out all normally, the 2nd episode will tell you why the characters are stuck in a time loop and the final episode will show you what Kyon did to stop the time loop. Unless you want to torture yourself, just watch the 1st, 2nd and 8th episode of the arc.
If you are going to watch "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" movie and you want the movie to have more of an impact then I'll leave the decision to you whether you want to watch all of the episodes of the Endless Eight arc or not. The Endless Eight arc kind of plays a role in the movie and I really want to explain to you how and why but I can't explain it to you because it's a huge major spoiler.
I have never watched Fairy Tail, so I don't know about the battles there, lol. Yeah, you should definitely finish watching the Chimera Ant arc, it's really worth it. When I watched it I was kinda tired too because of how slowly it could get. But yeah the last episodes of the arc are really addictive and I just couldn't stop watching. After you finish the Chimera Ant arc, you'll feel that the next arc is the shortest thing you've ever watched. :P
Yeah, as I said before, the Chimera Ant arc goes at a different speed. Try to watch a couple of episodes in the same day, otherwise you'll feel that you're stuck in the same thing for the next 30 episodes. I actually took around 2 months to finish the Chimera Ant arc, but it was because I had to travel while I was at the middle of everything, and I didn't take my laptop with me. It felt kinda weird to watch HxH again after so long.
Ah, Evangelion... it's really hard for me to talk about that series. It's not an easy anime to watch, indeed. Many people go for it thinking it's just another shounen-mecha anime, and that's not the case. I think my favorite part of Evangelion it's how everyone can infer different things about the real message of the anime. Evangelion is completely filled with symbolisms and complex dialogues. I've watched the anime TWICE and I'm still not sure about some aspects of it.
I also love how the characters are SO realistic, especially because everyone expects this anime to be a shounen series. I guess you've heard that Shinji is the worst character in the history of anime and blah blah blah. If you're planning to watch it, try to visualize yourself in the situation of the characters and think about how you'd react if you were in Shinji's or anyone else's shoes. I'm sure you'll be able to understand better the characters that way.
I just could talk about Evangelion for hours haha ^^
First of all, I'm sorry for the late reply. xD I've been really busy with school and such, but now I'm on my Spring Break, yay!
Okay, I'll let you know that people who watched HxH are divided in two: the ones who think the Chimera Ant arc was the best damn thing in the whole anime, and the ones who totally hated it. I'm part of the second group, tho. I'll give it a... 9/10 I think. It's true that at first it can feel really slow and the pacing is a bit weird. If you've just started it, then I totally understand why you are finding it boring. Just give it some time. The Chimera Ant arc is the longest HxH arc until now, after all.
As the arc progresses it starts getting darker and darker... you won't even recognize it's the same anime. You'll get to a part when you want to watch around 10 episodes per day because the pacing is soooo damn slow, but it's still really interesting. The narrative is totally different from the rest of the arcs. When you reach the arc's climax, 10 minutes of a single battle are explained in like 6-7 episodes, and I'm serious. It might sound like the most tedious thing in the world, but it isn't. The Chimera Ant arc is the most important arc for the character development, and it has one of the best antagonists in the whole anime world.
Just relax and watch it calmly, if you can. I'm sure you'll really enjoy the last episodes of the arc! c:
But nonetheless i am loving the show so much ^_^
