I'm a college student (geology majors unite!) that happens to like anime, mostly "adult" or "mature" animez. I do have a liking still to Digimon(preferably season 1 and 2), Pokemon(season 1), Monster Rancher, and Yugimonz(yugioh :P), as they are childhood favorites.

A lot of my friends my age happened to start watching "mature" animes when they were already in middle school. I didn't start watching mature animes until I was probably in, say, my junior year of high school. So I guess I started "late." The first adult anime I saw was Berserk, and it had me hooked ever since. The second one I ever watched is Record of Lodoss War, my top favorite.

I'm usually into fantasy or medieval-type animes/manga such as Berserk, Record of Lodoss War, Scrapped Princess, Orphen, Chronicles of the Cursed Sword, FMA, etc. However I also take a liking to sci-fi(Ghost in the Shell is a favorite as of now) and occasionally action/suspense/comedy(Black Lagoon, Ouran High School Host Club or whatever it's called).

Same here. It might actually be the first manga I'll pick up just to get more of the story.
