Sup. Feel welcome to open conversation or debates with me :3
What I look for in anime
Nowadays I tend to look for interesting plots, a dash of creativity and little fanservice. Fantasy, thriller, horror and sci-fi are what I love most but I'm open to other genres, like comedy occasionally. Background art is nice too but I don't really pay attention unless it is like Osamu Masayama level.
What I look for in music
Many Japanese bands captivate me. Like the creators of VK and the music gods of Japan, X Japan <3. Or the creative, traditional-styled Japanese x Western fusion that is Wagakki Band who consist of 8 members all playing different instruments which beautifully merge. Or the legends Maximum The Hormone that have music consisting of heavy metal, humour, well-fitted pop vocals, alternating tempo, funkiness and messages about relatable situations or government corruption.
You could say I look for music that is skilfully put together. I'm not an expert of music but I'm able to see how all of these elements make up pure greatness. I can't fall in love with something too plain.
My opinion on fanservice.
I used to be fine with fanservice but as I watched more and more I found out about the ages of some girls depicted in many anime to be under-16s which is disgusting to be frank. I love Japan and many parts about the culture but this does worry me. It worries me how easy it is for people to slip into liking things such as fanservice without questioning the depicted ages too though. よろしく。

Then in that case, he probably knows you in person but just hasn't told you or is messing with you.
So yeah, now that I have you as a friend on Facebook, and that this conversation has dragged on for waaay too long, I'll stop commenting. Maaybe I'll comment on here again if it only has to do with Anime. :D
It's relatable to me since I spend a lot of time indoors, but I'm not like the main character either. lol I started it a long time ago and I still haven't finished it!
Well, actually I say carro as well but if I go down to Mexico they also say coche. Maybe it's one of those words where, us Latinos living in the US, have taken the English word "car" and turned it into Spanish. lol
I'm sure you'll learn later on. I don't know how to cook either so I wouldn't cook something for someone else to eat but if its for myself, it doesn't matter. haha
Well, the Mexican tradition is "Quinceañera" which is when she turns 15. So no more big party at 16. Actually there is a video! But it's like a little movie kind of video documenting everything from going to church, to the photo session, to the dances and everything else. But it's on a DVD. I cringe whenever my parents watch it. It's usually done by a "professional" whos job is to make these videos for similar occasions. xD
Yeah, a little bit of Mexico and a little bit of 'Murica :) lol
I'm thinking maybe for you it's very little of Cuba?
EDC? It's basically a lot of dance music.
No, I enjoy stories, whether it be movies, TV shows, anime, or books. The only thing is that to get me started on something is hard, but once I get into it, I'm gone! lol So I don't usually read books, but whenever I pick one up, I get hooked, especially if the story is good!
I don't dance to any Latin music, only when I'm forced to. I was forced to dance merengue at my sister's Sweet 15 about 4 years ago. xD Idk if you're familiar with the Sweet 15 tradition?
One of the songs we danced to for her surprise dance was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvw6GCXHlt4 I was so nervous and embarrassed! hahahaha
See, I like some Trance and Hard Dance music as well as some rock/metal etc. Maybe that's part of being Mexican-American, even though my parents are Mexican, there are many things that differ between my parents and myself.
I imagine it would be difficult for you to endorse yourself in all the things Spanish has to offer since you're waaay over there. I don't have a problem with that because L.A is basically a hispanic community! haha
No problem, my reply is long as well!
For the first one I used an older, less expensive editing software but for the last one I used Sony Vegas. ;) I used to shuffle but now only whenever there are events like EDC for example. Do you have any other hobbies aside from anime?
I just graduated yesterday from CSULA (yes, I'm from Los Angeles) and at a small family picnic I was bored and did this hahaha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fjl1jzjpTY8
Normal American accent. No southern cowboy accent, no New York accent, no New Jersey Accent etc. Just the accent of a normal American like you hear in the movies. lol But I am Latino (my parents were born in another country). Not saying which because I would practically be giving away where I live, that should be a BIG clue as to where I'm from because there are certain areas where the majority of Latinos live here in the U.S.
Actually if you read the about me section, the answer is pretty much there! Hahaha
Haha I guessed! Woo!
A fucking pointy egg! But I don't think rugby is the same thing? lol
Btw, did I mention where I was from? The city or state, you obviously know the country. lol
Let me take a guess. I assume you're from England since you said something about bands going there. Not London, I assume. You said somewhere up North. Hmm, Manchester? Did I guess right? :D lol
Here is my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/SalgadoJonathan
No! It makes sense to call it football. We call football a sport that's played with your hands 95% of the time and is played with something that looks like an egg. More like handegg! lol
I'm not sure if I mentioned this other hobby I have. Haha it has to do with the some of the music I listen to (Trance, Hard Dance etc.) I have a YouTube channel where I edit these videos for other people. I don't post on my personal Facebook that's why I created another one for all that type of stuff such as those dance videos and anime, etc. It's on my page here if you want to add me, if not, completely OK! I post the videos there. You might even be able to see them as those "statuses" are public. hahaha
So I'm all over the place! From listening to stuff like LP and SOAD to Trance to watching anime to watching boxing and MMA to watching and playing football (what us dumbasses call "soccer" for some reason). xD
I have a list on a word document but decided it's better to keep track here as well.
Maybe. It's dangerous in the sense that I could hurt my elbows and shoulders. Snapping all kinds of ligaments and tendons. hahaha
