If you stick with Mushoku, you're going to see this theme of CHANGE. This is what stupid redditors don't get; you're supposed to be repulsed by Rudy initially. He's not necessarily a pedophile, just a disgusting coomer, which these weebs should have some sort of connection with. (MT is always smutty, but considerably less so as it goes on) Rudy doesn't just get reincarnated in a new body; his SOUL gets reincarnated. That's what's so cool about MT; it's not an epic tale of slaying the bad guy. It's strictly the story of Rudy from beginning to end.

This theme of change applies to all the other characters. Like I said with Muv Luv, the best works in any given genre isn't a deconstruction, it's a work that takes every element and uses them to elevate its themes. MT is the king of serious isekai, while Konosuba is the king of comedic isekai. Really isn't anything better out there.

Mushoku Tensei is pretty tight from beginning to end; there's only one novel I would skip on every re-read (I think it's 19?). There's an extreme payoff in the final book, which is triple the size of any other volume.

I approve of your favorites. I really like the third Madoka movie.

BUT, Hunta hunta 2011 is not as good as 1999, but Chimera Ant is the best arc.

look it up under lit. The WN is complete, like ~26 volumes, and then LN is like on volume 13? You could read until the LN stops and then go to WN. WN is very, uh, poorly translated BUT it's good nonetheless. Especially the last volume, pure kino.
