Oh thanks man. I wanted to review a couple of manga but I've been both too busy and lazy lately so I haven't got to it yet.
I'm reading the Ashita no Joe manga cause that's what was recommended to me, though I'm sure the anime is great too.

My good friend and colleague deals with the majority of movie related stuff for the show and website, but I've pitched in a couple of times recently as we've been receiving a lot of stuff from various distributors and studios. He deals with the written movie reviews on the website and has posted about his best and worst of 2013.
Personally I though Gravity was the best movie of 2013, and on Thursday just gone we interviewed Liam Russell from Framestore - the company responsible for most of the effects work. That interview will be on our show on the 23rd of February (the second part of our Animex Special), along with a whole heap of other great discussions (Dan Lund from Disney about Frozen, Gail Simone about her work in comics, etc).
Aside from Gravity I really enjoyed Pacific Rim - but not for the storytelling :)
Hey what's up, man?
There's actually a sticky thread about this in LOGH's entry, but here's the order I highly reccomend.
Release date order (more or less):
1. My Conquest Is the Sea of Stars (prequel)
2. Overture to a New War (remake of first two eps of the main series)
3. Main series
4. A Hundred Billion Stars, A Hundred Billion Lights (prequel series)
5. Golden Wings (optional)
6. Spiral Labyrinth (continuation of prequel series).
Chronological order:
1. A Hundred Billion Stars, A Hundred Billion Lights
2. Golden Wings
3. Spiral Labyrinth
4. My Conquest Is the Sea of Stars
5. Overture to a New War
6. Main series
You should probably watch in the former order and I think the latter is more suitable for rewatching.
