I try to otherwise I wouldn't believe myself when argue who is which reincarnation. One thing that I can't determine for sure is the angle the producers are aiming for... Every story has a `major lesson` you could say... Sousei no Aquarion's was that love is a power which transcends time... The direction seems all over the place like they aren't even aiming for something... sort of like they're just giving the fans what they want.
Also, something that sets Apollo apart from Amata is how they activated Aquarion. It's also probably the reason why Amata has yet to see Apollonius like Apollo did (yes i think Amata is Apollonius reincarnation). Apollo lost someone important, Baron... it signifies the loss of Celiane. Amata may have lost his mother but the way he explains it, it's like he believe she abandoned him rather than she was taken from him. The moment Mikono is kidnapped, or maybe Zessica is... Amata will probably start going all Apollonius on their asses... XD haha
The shadow Angels are basically winged humans with multiple elemental powers... They're not robots in the least. In episode 2, Touma took control of the Cherubim... Fudo is the 3rd pilot from 24000 years ago, he fought alongside Apollonius and Celiane and then erased his name from the Book of Holy Genesis which we've yet to see fully this season.... His scent was the scent that Apollo picked up in the final season, the scent of shadow angels... which makes you think they all smell alike... then again Apollo's reactions make you realize that all harvest beasts, no matter how different, smell the same so it is possible.
The cherubim soldiers and the harvest beasts may seem like robots but they're living organisms... It's kind of like Eureka Seven if you think about it. And if you look at Aquarion, it's something like the remains of Apollonius' body. Touma even treats it as if it's a godly being.... I think before the 24000 year ago even, Apollonius was actually Aquarion, a god that created the universe of the shadow angels and reincarnated himself without memories as a "Shadow Angel." The reason I feel this way is because Aquarion is the key to Apollonius and like Apollonius, the young shadow angel lost his wings, but Apollonius didn't die from losing his wings...
Apollonius definitely isn't a shadow angel if you look at it that way... but he's not human either...
I've yet to see someone say the first season was bad... o.O because it had just as much story with so much more action... Sure it didn't have more character development than needed and it didn't have all this drama but that's not always a good thing. :)
I've said this in a couple topics though... What is Fudo planning ..... He's the shadow angel who left with Apollonius 24000 years ago to help the humans, but what is his objective... @_@ He even fought alongside Apollonius and Celiane.... The name erased from the Book of Holy Genesis was his... so why...?
@Aquarion EVOL Ch16 reply.
You didn't seem like the people who are ignorantly focused on their opinion to the point of not listening to others. :) The wings on Silvia and Sirius hands are oversights that some people could mistake as a wing sign. When I saw Apollo hit the sun in the first season, I questioned whether that was the true wing sign and when Amata hit the sun in this season, I was sure that the wing sign was the reincarnation hitting the sun.
I do have something that bothers me though, in the first season, in Silvia's flashbacks of Apollo's past, she see's Touma visit him... they never clarified what happened there... Does that bother you too? XD
