I grew up watching Sailor Moon in the 90’s, a huge fan, but that was the extent of my love for anime at that time.
The beginning of this year I fell into the deep end and seem to have become obsessed. Not sure why, but it has become almost like an addiction.
It started with my kids wanting me to watch some series with them (Tokyo Revengers, Promised Neverland, and paeasyte), but they kinda got tired of watching anime. For me it only made me want to watch even more to the point that I refuse to watch anything besides anime.
The reason….because Japanese anime can portray characteristics and personality like no other!! I have always enjoyed the subject of psychology and if you are an anime lover you understand why that is important without explanation.The depths that majority of the series goes into is crazy and I love it!! The characters grow and shape on screen that nothing else compares and u get sucked into it. I can also watch with my toddler without having to go insane with kids programs 😁 Now I am picked on by my kids, because it’s all I watch…oh well….there are worse things in the world….isn’t there?
