Anime fan since 1993. I don't think I remember all the fansubbed stuff I watched during my college days. This was back when obtaining and watching fansubs consisted of owning multiple VHS decks and then copying and trading them with other people. How easy you young folk have it these days. ;-)
Having recieved the following "Club messaging has been disabled for now. This will likely return in the future." every time I try to message all club members. And after spending about an hour trying to find out if they even have an ETA on the return, I decided I have to do this the old fashioned way.
Time to nominate your favorite anime!
Rules are simple, nominate a single anime or second one that someone else has nominated.
You may nominate something you have nominated before, but not a previous winner.
Any finished anime series, movie, or finished OAV is eligible. Any anime series currently airing is not.
Please include a url link to the anime that you are nominating as occasionally the name is repeated, but the series are completely different (i.e. Macross).
This thread will remain open until 3 June 2012 and is located here.
LOL. Next time you should nominate (although, you can't vote for what you nominate). Hope to see you around the club more. And who knows... your name may be drawn for the spotlight, soon. Muahahahahahaha
It speaks!!! LOl j/k ^_~ All the new stuff in the club has been keeping me busy... with the spotlight and anime of the month (don't forget to vote :P). And I've discovered facebook, which is also keeping me busy. LOL. Not to mention the tons and tons of anime. ^_^
Hi there! Cool to see another anime fan of my "generation". I became a fan in '94 and had VHS fansubs of stuff like Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon, and others before they were licensed.
Well....there doesn't appear to be much left, heh. MUDconnect still has a good number of multi-themed ones, but as far as anime based ones go, I only know of four right now that are active and have player bases.
I just love the freeformness of it all...just an empty palette to play around with, kinda like a good novel ^.^
Yeah, I've been replacing mostly with .avi's myself, though some of the older stuff is taking me forever to find, heh...*sigh*...
Yes indeed I still MUCK! I've been MUCKing since '98, and I've no intention of giving it up, even in a world of folks entranced by the pretty pictures MMORPGs bring to the table. Technology be damned, I still enjoy a nice, deep, involved plotline with my favorite characters, or at least some good chat with more anime fans :)

Nice to see another City Hunter fan btw. =)
Feel free to poke your head into my profile or into the club once in awhile =P ( Why did that sound dirty to me? =/ )

May I ask where you played, if you recall?
