Funny how you dropped HxH because you "couldn't reasonably see how it could get better" after the introduction of Nen yet it's starting from that point that the show really gets intense, unpredictable and incredible. I still don't get the concept of rating something you haven't seen in its entirety. Sure drop whatever you want, just don't rate it, it's useless, if you haven't seen the whole thing, no matter how unbearable your watching is, there's no way your rating would be a single bit pertinent.

I've attempted Vivy before, and I just couldn't do it. Robots with emotions is just something that does not work for me.

By the way, I don't mind watching something that is so bad that it ends up being something purely enjoyable to watch. If you think Battle Royal High School fits that, I could actually take a look, even if not recommending it. The name of the anime itself inspires greatness since it sounds like they haven't even tried due to how general it sounds. There's got to be at least 41535135135 anime that fit its title.

It varies based on what you want out of the series how big or small it can be, but I think the series has a diverse enough skillset to be enjoyed in spite of that. And yeah, the anime adaptation excluded/readapted quite a bit of nudity.

I think I've also read the manga in its entirety since then and the only complaint I can recall off the top of my head is the author showing Nikaido nude way too many times. Like the tiniest excuse and here, now she's fully naked. Actually there is something else but it'd be a spoiler.

I'm not really into romcoms, personally. Neither am I into both genres on their own. But it's not sappy or emotionally manipulative (towards the watcher at least) and it has well written jokes. Typically what ruins romances for me is that they play to cater it as a fantasy, acting to a degree as wish fulfillment and due to that not building the characters as people, or their relationship as realistic. They keep building the fantasy to be attractive to the viewer, and whenever someone does that, it completely misses me. This isn't that.

I'll probably end up watching Tower of God and the next season of Kaguya.

My curiosity kind of died down, personally. I don't have a lot of faith after the fact they didn't know how to execute their ideas by the end. Although a manga is a bit better given there isn't a cap to how many chapters it can have.

I'm absolutely convinced if it lasted for 24 episodes it could've been great. The pace of the series was fine in the beginning. And personally, the suspension of disbelief wasn't a problem until a certain point, when there were too many issues that the series was just not addressing. So it's due to exactly what you have had said.

It's kind of unfortunate that the ending soured the first half for me, because since it relies on mystery the ending it heads towards matters a lot. So now if I'd rewatch I have all of the answers. And the answers aren't that great. I sometimes enjoy rewatching a good mystery because I can look at things knowing everything already, and having a different perspective on it.

I mean, the show towards its end becomes convenient, so that's probably the answer to your questions. That they were rushing to get to the end. I don't think your questions are not warranted. There were a lot of things I thought wer convenient too by the end. And I agree that the problems start at the point the "Not Time Travel" happens.

I remember especially disliking the villain reveal where he just kills himself to be in the well, and presumably that's going to keep him there, with no proof of that being the case. And also the fact that somehow the detective identities simply being stripped away did not create any real problems after a certain point and they would somehow like.. take pride in being detectives? I don't know. Their whole attitude was weird all around in the final confrontation.

Yeah, I'm stellar.

I don't recall if this was the case when we last talked, but the scores in my profile aren't accurate anymore. I basically assign each in an even spread, by sorting each show by my most favorite to my least, and the top 10% get 10's, then those between 10%-20% get 9's etc.

In truth, I believe Dorohedoro is good. It's fun and it does everything "wrong", and by that I mean it is unconventional in everything it does. I might review it, but it's most probably not gonna be this weekend. If I scored it normally, it'd be a 7. ID Invaded is a 6.
