Sub vs Dub... it is a debacle, that I wish would end. Subs and dubs are both important. Both give translators jobs, both require a lot of talent to get the feel of it, both have their own up sides and down sides. For me, it depends on the anime; and if I rewatch, it almost certainly is in the version I saw beforehand. Most of my anime has been in sub, but I have been into dub for awhile too. The Netflix Eva dub is bad, I can attest to that. Fooly Cooly? Cowboy Bebop? There are certainly many who would be in arms, telling you why they are near masterpieces. My favorite anime I watched though, Orange, was in subs. I associate the Japanese cast with those characters, so I prefer the Orange sub to the dub. I usually don't care which side to choose to be fair; purely instinctual I would retort. Enjoy subs, enjoy dubs! Enjoy cartoons, because anime is Japanese' English calque for animation! LOL
