I understand you mate in full reality and practicality Satou isn't really a person one should look up to, he is a shut in with no real skills and usually finds himself in trouble for literally anything. But is that entirely Satou's fault that he is a shut in.....in reality people like Satou actually have huge dreams. They act like that because the society hasn't treated them right. Let me take an example suppose you are on an expedition and completing is an absolute must, but things don't go that way and you fail the world starts pitying you and starts throwing their emotions to the context some positive some negative, you accept the failure and move on like a normal person does. Now there is another person who isn't as emotionally stable as us and decides to commit suicide. Now, was it entirely person's fault he died or the people commenting should also take some responsibility that made living so tough for him.
In the story the writers don't idolize a life of a shut in they simply tell story according to their perception of what a shut in feels like on different topics of life.
It is actually really amazing to have a different take on an anime......I myself have a lot.

Mate I have watched a lot of shows like this and still have a massive fan circle. I understand that shows like this may have an effect on your psyche but this is argument seems like the one that playing rpg video games makes you wanna kill people.

I do agree with you on the fact that the main character is awful in NHk, but i don't think the show was as bad as you said it was tho

I just read your review on NHK and I can't agree more. I'm on episode 17 and I'm also only watching just to find out how it ends for Misaki. I couldn't care less about any of the other characters. Episode 17 was so trash though I don't think I can make it. Anyway, great review.

Sato Tatsuhiro is absolute human garbage. I didn't think i'd get to hate a guy this much somewhere in my life. He's worthless, yes he somehow manages to be self-adsorbed. Idk if you care about this, but you're honestly the first person who adressed this issue with welcome to the NHK properly.
