 Since May 2012, I decided to renew an interest that was long forgotten (perhaps never even acknowledged in my childhood mind). As a kid, I watched anime most kids watched: Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Now as an almost-adult, I hope to expand my viewing horizons. I have just two goals with regards to anime viewing/manga reading that I hope to achieve by May 2014: 1. Watch 100 anime series (specials and rewatches (with the exception of rewatching an anime seen for the first time prior to challenge start) do NOT count). 2. Watch 10 different anime movies.  anime completed - (series listed in alphabetical order.)

I recommend that you give Accel World a try, it's also a good anime with an interesting premise.

Yeah, I mean you're basically putting production time and money into something that you could justify removing. I think the main reason they did it anyways was because that part where they where Keima and Haqua were trying to analyze who of his past conquests could be angels, it would've been a bit too straight forward if Keima was like, "It's these ones (since they wouldn't have mentioned the others)." Though I still think they could've gotten away with it a bit because some of the girls like the Karate girl were from a previous season but not a potential angel host. But overall I'm pretty sure they could've spent their budget on something else instead. Hmm I actually did pick up the manga but since it's stuff I've seen already I haven't been too motivated to push through all the chapters to catchup to the anime. I do know they do skip stuff that's why I want to check it out. In general though I don't keep up with manga as often as I do with anime.
Aw. =P Yeah you're like filling a hole in your heart when a good anime ends with other anime that can't compare...=P No I haven't seen it yet cuz I just came back from work...but you can always just talk about it because I've already read the manga. ;) Don't let it hold you back. Wow. Err I'll send you a pm. =3 But yeah I agree that Keima definitely has matured and been more social as well..Though to be honest, I think he's kinda like Hachiman from My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. It's not that he doesn't know how to talk to girls or to others..it's just he chooses not to. He's perfectly capable of doing so. Hmm well I actually haven't watched too many dramas/romances where a lover has woken up with amnesia. =O But it is something popular from soap operas I'm sure?
Yeah I was really wondering why they bothered even talking about the skipped conquests they probably could've left them out completely and not have to mention them at all when he was checking up on his previous conquering. Cuz bringing them up only makes you want to know more and wonder why they skipped it. I suppose it's a bit more honest and faithful to the manga if they mention it in passing but I think it kinda takes away from the anime/story if you do that as well by distracting you with something you never intend to explain nor matters that much to the plot.
Hmm I'm actually not really sad about any anime ending. I'm just excited to see the most excited parts..and worried they won't conclude things and tie up loose ends just in case they can get a 2nd season. xD But yeah...I'm not too worried about that..ask me again once everything ends? =PPPP Ohh actually probably Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S. It's my new moe-fix after K-On! The girls are so cute. I love watching them be silly and cute together.
Yeah- she had a great point though...if she's not particularly great in any thing what does she have going for her? I really felt empathetic towards her character towards the end of the second season but I definitely was like Keima and you, frustrated toward her hap-haphazardly nonchalant view of love and guys. And yeah she definitely has matured a lot.

That's exactly what I was trying to say! =D But you said it better...haha =333 *pat pat* Yes, battling himself was the perfect choice of words. =) Do you really think he's devoid of true emotions? I think some part of him is attached to the girls but he does remain detached and I think believes digital girls are still better. But I mean....real life is real life...even if he was saying certain things because of his mission when your feelings and the blushing and all that stuff gets going I think it's not so easy to simply remain detached....I think the hardest part about it for him anyways...is that they forget everything....all those special moments and feelings gone. =( I'd cry after every conquest. xD Ok maybe only the girls I really liked. =P But yeah, I think it's a bit evident this season that he still cares about them but what choice do you have but to detach yourself if they forget everything anyways. =o Nuuu you're absolutely not thinking too much into it *huggles* Being thoughtful is what makes a girl sweet no? =PPP
Lol. Well once he decided he was gonna do both at the same time I was amazed. xD Before then he was just trying to make do with a horrible situation. x3 Yesh I agree! I really like Ayumi the most this season. It's really hard for me to put into thoughts because I honestly didn't think much of her in the first season. My opinion of her went up when she took care of him in the 2nd season when he passed out from lack of food and then when she went over to take care of him my opinion of her shot through the roof. =P Gah when you say things like that it makes me go crazy. x3 I'm sure we'll have lots of fun if you wear them for me Aika-chan =PPP
Yeah the fire truck thing was funny at first but for me is kinda old. Luckily they don't emphasize it that much anymore. Her cooking never ceases to disturb me though. Haha. =3 Lies. =P Haha be careful girl when ya wink. I think eyelashes are like skirts, they tease you to no end. <3
Yes! D: I felt so so bad for her. I didn't tear up but I had the urge to comfort her and beat him up. xD Well... even though they didn't really show him regretting it explicitly I felt that he felt really guilty about it also. Because he chased after her but then stopped himself at the door to the stairwell and resisted the urge to go after her. That's how I interpreted that split second he stood there anyways.
Hmmm I'm really not used with all the action and the high stakes end of the earth seems a bit out of characteristic of the series but it still hasn't lost it's gamer humor I think. I have been enjoying it's differences and its similarities to the first two seasons. I have been really enjoying the last couple of episodes. That scene where he was trying to hid Ayumi was so hilarious and hot at the same time. xD I think they did a great job switching back and forth and god, seeing her that close hugging him tightly and all sweaty~ xD Of course what can I say? Skirts are God's gift to mankind. =P You probably don't wear skirts much over there do ya? Luckily I live in California so.....v.v!!! =P It was pretty cute when she was poking her head outta the blanket as well. =P
What else to say? Hmm... since you watched episode I guess I can say that I thought the fight was super intense and I loved her new black clothing. I've always had a thing for Haqua ever since they first introduced her. The majority of people liked Elsie over her but I find Haqua's intelligence but intense cuteness when she blushes super attractive. =P Her eyes and bangs are just the best. xD Elsie is much more cuter and innocent and simple-minded in a cute way but I suppose I've always thought of her as a sister type character. xD She's more one-dimensional I think but I love her optimism and her adoration of Haqua and Keima. Hmm... anyways...lately I've noticed I like more tsundere characters. x3 Which confuses me because irl I'd probably go for a personality more like Elsie's xD Sweeter. You can't just do better than a sweet girl. =3

I actually just started Susei no Gargantia's specials and didn't really like them nor did I like Toaru no Railgun S special, "Motta Marutto Railgun III". I guess I don't really like random type comedy. I think Simpsons and Family Guy is probably the extreme maximum random type comedy I can enjoy.... do you like really random comedy? I'm not sure what are more current cartoons and such but I guess like American Dad, Family Guy, Adventure Time, Adult Swim, Robot Chicken, Southpark, etc. hopefully that's enough listed TV series that you get what I mean by comedy that centers around being random.
=) Daw ok than I believe you cuz you'd never lie to me right? =PPP *pat pat* Good job. xD One Piece...I tried to get into it but it's just so hard with so many episodes but I heard some of the writing is really really good so one of these days I'll just force myself to watch it and marathon it. I actually was able to catch up on Fairy Tail and Hunter x Hunter.....I tried to do it with Gintama but I couldn't get into it either. Katekyo HItman Reborn! I coudn't get past I think episode 10 or so... I never watched DragonBall series and probably never will for that reason even though it's such a classic I'm probably really missing ou if I don't watch it. xD But that anime is notorius for not doing anything in an entire episode.. to drag on the fight episode after episode. xD

Lol that was sooo cute. =3 I definitely will take a picture. I actually made some pork shoulder the other day...it was with some soy sauce, salt and basically boiled it till it was falling off the bone. Then I just add it to my ramen to spice things up. =P I tried it yesterday I think? And it was super delicious. I added a bit more soy sauce to make it taste more like soy-sauce broth and added some sesame oil.........x.x was super good <3 I not sure if that would make you hungry but I could send you a picture next time I eat it (probably tommorow on my day off =) whaddya think? Would it make you super jelly (jealous)? =P
So that first picture with the cream...it made me think of that tasted immediately. =P The 2nd one with the meat on rice didn't look that great but the glaze with the sprinkled sesame seeds did kinda make me crave that..though I actually was really craving it today when I got home. I really wanna eat some pork dumplings with green onions and leek but I haven't bought any from the chinese market lately. =( They come frozen and are super delicious. =o Though homemade is always better of course... I want to learn how to make it cuz my mom used to make it at home when I was little. <3 I don't recall it being that great but my brother swears it was the best dumpling he ever had..lol x3

On hot dogs at 7-11 I'd freaking put everything on it. xD On Burgers do you like tomato and lettuce and pickles on it with mustard? =O I love eating burgers that way. x3 Or by condiments u mean strictly sauces like mustard and ketchup etc?
Hmm. I see =P I guess one day I'll have to figure out what sauces ya like then. I doubt u like alll asian sauces. =P I thought you didn't have much selection over there? Asian is such a broad amount of countries @.@ Do you like fermented stuff like Korean kimchi? or....hmmm... seaweed? Or like...chilled cucumber seasoned with garlic, sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar? <- one of my fav's =) Or hmm... anythign with oyster sauce is always da bomb and anything with vietnamese fish sauce usually will be super yummy as well. xD Zomg you don't like Marinara sauce? D: Do you like dislike any tomato-based sauce then? Salsa? Hmmm can't think of any other tomato based sauce....xD
Oh I see. D: Well I guess that means Thai food is out cuz I think it uses a lot of mint. =o Well not a lot but I know they like to use mint. It's always the really humid asian countries that make really really refreshing foods. @.@ Ermm hmm well cheese I like but I'm not really a cheese connoiseeur so have hardly tasted the many different varieties of cheeses that are out there.
I'm not really sure what foods I might not like...I suppose gross foods like.... Sea Amenome but hmm even that's not true cuz I've eaten pork blood and bird's nest before... *shrugs* I guess Durian? but only cuz it stinks really bad. I think if u get used to the smell (ignore it) u can eat the fruit. Let's just put it this way...more than likely I'd just have to pay attention to what you don't like because I can probably eat almost anything within reason (insanely salty that it makes you nauseus or super duper spicy that you got snot dripping out of your nose an can't feel your tongue or lips. =P I suppose I wouldn't be able to eat live insects or cooked insects that easily? lol =3 I'll spare ya the pics. x3 You'll have to just take me out and u'll find out what I like I guess =P I'll be sure to bring a notepad and pen if your list is any longer. =P
Oh..yeah I think you can't really compare the two it suppose it's tring to evoke that same sense of theatrical grandeur by playing something similar to phantom of the opera but I don't think it really works. I actually hardly like the new opening at all really.

=)))) Your welcome. =) Ah Baka to Test, for some reason I tried watching it and can't get into it but it's highly recommended and is really funny. *shrug* I'll try to pick it back in later I guess... I don't remember how far I got but they had their first challenge with the upperclass..the B group I wanna say? Or maybe the A? I don't remember. But yeah for some reason I didn't hit it off with the series.
Hmmm generally I do like watching OVA's and specials if I enjoyed the anime. The spinoff type random shows though I don't really like. But if it's not a alternative reality type thing where say it's a cafe..or a chibi version of the anime focusing on a side character, I usually want to watch it. OVA's generally are pretty good quality and have less censors and more time to polish before than releasing to TV does. If I didn't like the show much than not surprisingly I don't go out of my way to download the specials and OVA's for it. The thing is that MAL doesn't distinguish continuation of a series so for example...right now when Oreimo 2 released episodes 14-16 it considered a special while the series considered a continuation of the manga for that last arc. Sometimes I'll download something and it'll have episodes 24-26 and I'll wonder why it has extra episodes when MAL only goes up to a certain # because it considers them a special whether or not it's relevant or a continuation to the main content or not. I think all MAL considers for TV series is that if it's finished with the scheduled airing it's considered a different series or branch from the TV series.

Hmm...yeah, revolutionary is a good choice of words. Well the chord progression is almost exactly the same for Phantom of the Opera I think... my ear isn't really trained that well but I'm pretty sure it's only like one chord off at the end. I definitely agree with you...there's something about the rhythm of the lyrics for the first one that gets you pumped up and does seem more like a battle one (because of the use of brass and drums-like a marching band).
Hmm well I've read the manga all the way up to the most current and it isn't even close to resolving or concluding anything actually. There's so much stuff it hasn't covered yet, I'm actually not sure what they'll do...they're going to have to wait for the manga to come out with more chapters...a lot more chapters before they'll have enough content for a 2nd season. It's almost caught up to the manga already. And between now and the most up to date chapter there isn't much more that ya know now that you don't later when the season ends.
Oh. Well the repeating melody at the end was what I was referring to like....hmmm lemme find a link and tell u the seconds.
At 30 seconds to roughly 33 seconds is the contrast with the pianos and Phantom of the Opera melody with the blood splashing on the window. But that's kind of the theme throughout, especially the last part showing the transformed Eren and the breaking debris.

Is the repetitious melody I'm talking about. I'm not sure what the technical name is for it but usually you do it to break up the melody and if it's repeated like they'll usually change the last chord to something else but they use it over and over again so there's almost like..no resolution to the musical idea they introduced I guess... x3 Do you have any music background? =3 It's nice to know we can stay up late at night talking about music while snuggling. ~.^
There's a ton of specials which I haven't watched. One featuring them in a cafe, one featuring the original idea as an OVA, one that gives backstory in the series, another that summarizes Fate/stay night. x.x.... I think most people like Fate/Zero better so one recommendation was to watch Fate/Stay Night first so that you won't be disappointed if you do the better one first. xD *shrug* Do what ya want. xD I'm moving on the next subject.

There's apparently 84 currently airing anime I believe? xD Check out this site if you wanna see all the airing anime. It's a pretty useful site to see when something has just aired or when your favorite show will air. I check that first then search for translations for that anime. x3

Ahaha right? I love love love watching anime about food. x3 Anytime any anime eats food..it always has never failed to look delicious and make you want to try it. x3 Speaking of which! I was watching....Blood Lad episode 7 when Fuyumi made Omurice (Omelette-Fried rice) and it made me want to learn how to cook it. xD I haven't looked up a recipe yet because i was kinda put off by the fried rice (I suck at cooking fried rice). Actually that didn't look too hard but that flipping of the omulet looked kinda hard too. xD Anyways after that episode I immediately did some searching and came across some food porn. I was gonna post it before but I wanted to wait till u watched it.
That and flipping the fried rice with a pan like that is prettttty difficult...lol! Anyways I hope you enjoyed that because I just watched it again and definitely did. xDDD I love almost anything egg..but especially scrambled egg and hard-boiled egg. x3 Do you like any specific egg dishes? =O
Yeah I like the first opening for Attack of Titans better also. The style of music is really unique because it combines rock with heavy bass drum but with orchestral sounds as well. The second one pretty much uses the same instruments as the first but with different emphasis and style. It still has some power because of the chorus, 16th note guitar notes and the orchestra but I think, watching the two, the first opening lyrics are soo much clearer because the way the arrangement is composed but in the second opening the guitar kind of overpowers the vocals in the new opening. The new opening almost sounds like Phantom of Opera doesn't it? Some of the chords make it sound just like it. The melodies and transitions and background music in general don't propel the lyrics and song forward as much as the first opening. You get the sense in the first song that there's this intense struggle. The brass, bass, drum, and chorus in the first one really propelled the song forward at this intense, furious pace but still centered on the lyrics in the end. The second one just doesn't fit. Even if still managed to add in that marching parade feel and the chorus and the the same fast pace, making it sound like Phantom of the Opera makes the entire thing sound much more theatrical and broadway.. if that makes any sense. xD I think they tried to make it contrast the bloodiness and tried to make it more beautiful but the other thing about the second song is it repeats a lot toward the end..like 4 to 5 times the same melody..and in the end I think that melody doesn't work since it's supposed to mix things up not be repeated 4 times. xD Hope that makes sense? If not I give up. xDDD
