I seem to really enjoy anime with homosexual themes, though I'm not into dudes or anything and I don't perv out over lesbians. I find the genres of boys' love and yuri to be quite intriguing and it is a lot more interesting than the typical boy meets girl blah blah blah boring stuff you see all the time.
I prefer anime over the manga just because it moves and has sound to go with it. Sort of silly reason, honestly.
