Smart choice. It took me a while to realize there were significantly better opportunities provided by other employers, but I hesitated and kept my first gig for years (and also because it was really close to my home driving wise)
Haha. It was actually one of my slower watches since I had a busier month.
Anyways. I thoroughly enjoyed LotGH. I actually want to put it in my favorites, but I judge my favorites on the entirety of all the entries that encompass the franchise with a weighted average and it doesn't make in due to the 2 movies that I watched that took place before the first episode of the 110 episode OVA, which had a much slower pacing and didn't involve much of my favorite character Yang Wenli.
I appreciated the symphony portion (had a big impact in the first several arcs of the series). There needs to be more anime that has this kind of musical composition.
Although I do not like politics, the politics in this show was quite entertaining. The show puts much attention to detail in its execution in regards to reputation, interaction, consequences, diplomacy, strategy, cohesiveness of team, scenarios involving multiple independent parties, ethics into question, perspective in autonomy vs democracy, etc. Heck, even the subtlety of everyday human nature, it captures well.
The humor is lowkey but its great that it utilizes that aspect to the point which doesn't take away from the mood of the show.
There are quite a few interesting and complex characters and the various situations they have to deal with. I like the strategies implemented in many cases. The dialogue between characters were pleasant and sophisticated.
The main things the show suffer at times can be the animation sequences of scenes (running animation isn't pleasant to look at and the sound matching towards the animation in regards to the action scene needed work, lip doesn't move in a few scenes conversations), a few of the characters' logic seems perplexing at times, and the romance seems lazily done (don't really care about it since that's the not the focus). It's not enough for me to not claim this as a masterpiece.
In short, the story is masterfully done. Best drama I have ever watched.
Not exactly a cohesive post of my "review" of it, but I'm not good with words, so meh.

Thank you. So far my day is alright, since I'm working, but it will definitely improve when I get home.
Looks like we haven't talked in a while. Are you hanging in there during these crazy times?
It's a lame game though all things considered but been too slow to change things ^.^
My work day hasn't exactly been that, but now the best part of the day has arrived.
How are things with work? Is it better now?
It takes me a while to actually construct those thoughts. If I were to discuss off the top of my head, you will notice a vast difference in coherency.
Looked like at first you didn't seem to be able to enjoy LOTGH since I remember seeing it on your hold before I delved into the franchise.
Are you feeling better now? Is your job less stressful?
