Sorry for replying late, I'm really busy with school and don't even have time to watch any anime.
I think most people dislike Chihaya because her route wasn't as romantic as the other girls. And I do kind of agree though, Sakuya kind of gets in the way even in HF. Chihaya didn't have the best route but I thought her route's ending was one of the best and she is definitely the best heroine.
Thank you for the links to the icons and the cursor, I really like them XD
Thanks, our compatibility is quite high.
Big fan of Key here but I have not played the Air and Kanon VNs.
I see that we both agree that on the best girls of AB and Rewrite.
I don't quite understand why people do not like Chihaya that much. I mean, when I first met her in the VN, I already felt that she's the best girl.
May I know where you got your AB and Clannad desktop icons?
Yeah, I can't really do the review I wanted to do because there's so many things that I feel didn't transition well enough to anime.
I feel like a VN reader / anime watcher could read my review and know the exact events I'm talking about.
Some stuff like:
>Is it wrong for grownups to lie even if their end justifies their means?
>A parent's role is to guide and help their children, but they must also know when to let go.
>Who are our really our friends and enemies? We often lack the experience to be able to tell. (Referring to Kengo helping Riki in Rin's route, while Kyousuke is antagonizing, but really Kengo is holding Riki back and Kyousuke was pushing him forward.
Mm, I could've written my review a lot better, but I've lost my passion for the anime. It took a lot out of me to even write the bits that I touched on...
I didn't mention the themes of succession between Riki and Kyousuke, for example.
I think I at least have some advantages when it comes to writing this review, so I guess I'll stay on the page unless maybe Stark and someone else both manage to exceed me.
But yeah... I can only do so much when reviewing the anime that I'm pretty disappointed in.
Komari's voice was pretty awesome this season.
It was still kinda bad in the beginning last season, but still not nearly as horrid as the VN...
I actually never hated her voice at all in the VN. I sort of read her text fast so I wouldn't hear it all the way, but she had some fun moments with a soothing voice.
I dunno, I think KyoAni does overdo it with the waterworks.
My friend yelled at me for calling them out on this.
I feel like KyoAni might've overdone it with Little Busters as well, honestly.
Still, I'd rather see epic scenes like cheap tricks and epic waterworks Kyousuke then worry about the heroine routes having too many tears.
Yoshino's arc even seemed like it had too much crying.
I rewatched C:AS recently, and idk if I felt like it was really melodramatic. I think I watched it as one of my first shows, and I didn't feel like the drama was forced because I already knew what was coming this time around. Part of it being a VN adaptation with all these dramatic routes popping up.
I'm surprised to see someone who likes LB a lot more than Clannad, hehe.
Well, I valued some of the better parts of After Story a lot, and I'm guilty of rating the show on its climax rather than overall. C:AS is my top anime, but that doesn't mean Clannad even holds a candle to Little Busters for me. I've never felt even half as connected to Clannad's characters. It feels very much like Clannad is putting on a performance for you to enjoy at times, especially with some side arcs. The later episodes of After Story seem pretty solid, though.
Mm, just wish we had some of that good Clannad direction for Little Busters. If KyoAni could've kept themselves from making Kengo cry too much or whatever, it could've been nice. I liked how there wasn't a constant stream of tears coming from Kengo in his farewell, but it could've been better. Kyousuke's was cool but that art kinda kills me on rewatch.
Well, Merry Christmas. About to go to sleep, so tired...

Ah well, Komari <3
You'd have to be a total piece of shit to hate Komari.
