The first season really surprised me. I was expecting just a generic harem, but the mystery aspects were really interesting. My opinion was solidified in the last few episodes, with the whole wilderness survival arc. That was so good!
You have a pretty interesting list of favorites with a range of genres. FMA was actually my gateway anime...And I loved the first season of Grisaia! Really need to watch the others. Also just finished Gate season one, and it was pretty good (though characters like Tuka hardly got any development). I wasn't too fond of the original White Album series, but 2 is completely different so I'm sure it should be better!

Seinfeld <3333 I only watched it all finally like the other year when they repeated it on TV here and it was hilarious! the highlight of my week.

See you're also seeing Psycho-Pass. I like the series, but I will say prepare for tons and tons of exposition. Especially if the characters are quoting from a novel.
Red is also my favorite and I started out as a movie nut before I began watching anime. "To Kill A Mockingbird" is the one classic movie that I want to see, yet at the same time can't bring myself to watch. Courtroom dramas (with the exception of "12 Angry Men") are a hard sell for me.
What kind of rock music do you listen too? I listen to some country, but with the exception "Kacey Musgraves" there's not a whole I seek out. Don't worry about your shyness. I'm sure you'll conquer it.
