“The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely”
Carl Jung
There are no monsters within the world, just those who find themselves lost; people with flaws; people who make mistakes. We could also define it as living in their unconscious if you want to look at it in a psychoanalytic way as we allow our inner most desires to surface into our conscience.
Our minds are fragile as they hold the ability to be easily influenced by others. We are shaped by the individuals around us and are pulled into what their definition of "normal" is. We grow up following that norm and just try to get by in life without standing out; without being noticed and judged. We hide the largest part of who we are in fear of rejection. These qualities are who we are, by hiding them or changing yourself, you are rejecting who you are and you potentially risk losing that person. That person is truly amazing.
I am the most flawed individual ever, and at times I have a hard time understanding as well as finding the good within myself. Even so, I would never throw who I am away in order to "fit in". I want to hold onto this person for as long as I can before getting sucked intothe medias wants, and societies norms. This is a battle one will face for the rest of their life.
This is one battle I am determined to win.
Manga, and anime are what keep me sane in this pressured and judgmental world.

I can agree with that. I mean I did start out watching the best of the best, so I understand how the best series such as Clannad really hit you hard in terms of emotion, but can be very intelligent such as Code Geass. And yes, I agree that the meaning is what you remember in the end. I've heard Neon Genesis Evangalion does that really well, but I still have to watch it.
As for manga, I've only started reading paper books recently. Before it was online with fan-translators. I can see how the properly translated books are appealing, but I don't want to start buying a ton of books to read them once. Good thing, Tegami Bachi and Fullmetal Alchemist are both worth buying.
Now onto your fave animes.
D.Gray-man: Heard good things about it, but still have to watch it. I also heard the manga kept going, so It'll be a while till I decide to watch this one.
Code Geass: Fantastic series. My absolute favourite when it comes to overall plot and I'm really looking forward to watching Akito the Exiled. As for R3, I disagree. I think it ended sadly, but beautifully, and I don't think a sequel will give it justice. Not only that, but he accomplished everything he needed to. If you remember his last words, it gave the series closure and finality and a magnificent end for Lelouch. To put it simply yet cryptically, the chessboard only had 2 revolutions.
Soul Eater: Hilarious. Loved the comedy, the action, and the overall plot. I still need to read the manga, which I heard is ending in two months. Overall a great series. I wouldn't be surprised if the anime was redone like FMA was with Brotherhood.
Clannad: After Story: A brilliant series that is my favourite in terms of feels. Never seen an anime with this much heart. I look forward to when Little Busters finishes and Rewrite finally gets adapted into an anime. When I recommend anime to people, I always tend to start with anything Key and most of the Kyoto Animation works.
Looking at your list, I can say that you'll enjoy Air (just prepare the waterworks) and Hyouka is probably my favourite mystery anime thus far and while its not made by either of the two studios, Kokoro Connect is as interesting as Hyouka with the character designer of K-On!. (One last recommendation. I recommend dropping the BRS tv series and just stick with the OVA. Much, MUCH better. http://myanimelist.net/anime/7059/Black%E2%98%85Rock_Shooter_(OVA) )
Pandora Hearts: Read a bit of this and loved it. Been meaning to watch the anime for ages. I will get around to it and I will enjoy it.
As for Steins;gate, I'm in two minds about it. While I love complex plots like Code Geass, Baccano!, Hyouka, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and Spice and Wolf, its a bit over the top in terms of the characters. As its goes along that actually becomes a strength of the series as the plot thickens, but I'm only at episode 6 at this point. I will say the animation is spot on, the witty intelligent humour is well done, and the dub is brilliant.
Speaking of which, have you heard any great dubs?
I can give you a list of the best.
I had no idea Liar Liar had that in it, but I just looked it up and, of course, its a false pretense. No brother or sister relationship to be seen there. It's most likely the same thing they did in "From up on Poppy Hill", which was a great film by the way. Stick with it. I heard it was a good manga from a friend.
And I can understand that, which is why I'm not really reading anything apart from FMA, Tegami Bachi, and Fairy Tail, but the rest are ones I do want to read at some point.
As for anime, its currently Steins;gate, but I will get to the other ones on my watching list soon.
And that's that. So back to my earlier question, seen any excellent dubs?
Besides, I decided that on-hold is anything I want to watch soon and plan to watch are animes that have not been released yet or I haven't had the time to look into. Watching is anything I'm watching now or immediately once I get the chance.
So, if you'll explain your top five favourite anime choices, I'll explain my top ten (used to be 5, but I put a list on my profile of anything really good that I had to move off the top 5 slots).
Also right now I'm watching Steins;gate.
I'd heard Liar Liar is fantastic and I hope you enjoy it.
Anything else great that you're currently watching or reading?
And by the way, I have watched Code Geass.
