I'm an ex anime hater turned avid anime fan. I gave anime a try after hating on it and i watched attack on titan and i fell in love with anime. I've been watching anime since July or August 2015. I also play a lot of games :P. [NOTE] any anime in my favorites that have a second season are also my favourites. I dont include 2nd seasons so that i can save room to add more shows to my favourites so, for example even though i only have season 1 of owari no seraph in my favourites, season 2 is still one of my favourites, its not there so that i can save room for other series to put in my favourites. Another example is fairytail, fairytail 2014 is my favourite as much as fairytail, its just not there to save space.
My favourite anime genres are shounen, fantasy, adventure, mystery and action
My favourite anime studios are Madhouse, A1 Pictures, Wit Studio, White Fox, Studio Pierrot and Production I.G
I rate based on enjoyment alone

Story on how i got into anime
Well back in 2015 my irl friend asked me if i watched anime and i was like wtf is that "is it a game or movie or what" (LOL). He then told me about what it was and that it was Japanese cartoons and i started constantly talking shit to him because i was uninformed and thought they were Japanese cartoons for children and frankly i was being immature. But i started watching youtube videos on "why do people like anime" and i gradually kept becoming more and more interested over the next 2 weeks of finding out about anime so i asked my friend for a really good recommendation for me and he suggested attack on titan.
I started watching attack on titan and i still didn't like anime for the first 5 episodes while watching because i wasn't being open minded what so ever but then it happened... i watched episode 6 of attack on titan and i was blown away, i became instantly addicted. I had never been more mind blown in my life at how great something was, i just couldn't believe through watching the series how fantastic it was. I fell in love with that show and instantly became addicted to anime, i had to eat my words and i was constantly apologizing to my friend about just how wrong i was because i had never felt so wrong about something in my life.
I have watched a lot of anime since 2014, I've completed a lot of anime since starting anime. I'm also a big gamer and have been since i was 5 years old (currently 20) but anime took control of my life lol and i did nothing but binge watch anime for 4 months straight when i discovered it when i wasn't at college or doing college work at home. I had never felt such strong emotional attachment to any entertainment before i found anime. I was so emotionally attached to every anime i watched but after 3 years of watching anime, unfortunately i no longer feel great emotional attachment to any characters or shows i watch these days but i still love anime :P, thats my story, so yes i was a anime hater turned avid anime fan and otaku.
I'm glad i discovered anime because anime opened my eyes and made me a much more open minded person since and im open to trying much more things than just gaming. ps i used to be very close minded. [NOTE] you may be wondering how come i didn't know about anime to so late and that is because im from the UK and anime isn't on tv here and not a lot of people watch it, its much more of a niche here than it is in the US

I think I`ll call it a night now - it`s almost 4 AM here where I`m from :O It was awesome talking to you, thank you for adding me ^_^ Hope to hear from you more in the future ! :D
Oh so you stream? That`s great, how long have you been doing it ? :)
I already listened to it, hahahaha, couldn`t help myself! I`s really amazing, geez those musicias are geniouses :O
And Attack on Titan blew my mind, everything was so AWESOME and EPIC *_* I remember listening to the opening and ending themes on repeat every day xD
..KIDDING ! :D I`ve seen some episodes of both shows, I know I always enjoyed them, but never watched them for real. Kakashi was actually the reason I enjoyed it for the most part, he is an awesome character!
And that sounds good I'll for sure give it a watch when I get more time, Thanks for letting me know about the ending as long it concludes itself I'm sure I'll enjoy it since I usually like Anime/Movies that have that sort of feel to them :)
And nice I wasn't aware it was only 40 minutes long I'll for sure have to watch it, Just curious since you've Kimi no Na wa how does the ending of Garden of words compare? I would look it up but I don't want to see any spoilers, Is it happy/concluded ending like Kimi no Na wa? or does it leave things to be wanted I heard that 5 Centimeters Per Second had a bit of a depressing ending so I was just curious ^^
I haven't been playing any games for like 3-4 months and I just started downloading some games I bought but never played since I have way to many in my steam library from sales and stuff lol I've been playing VA-11 Hall-A, Serious Sam 2 (for nostalgic purposes since I played it back on the original xbox) And also CS:GO and CS:Source and Half Life 1 and 2 :)
Just curious how was garden of words? I'm pretty sure it was made by the same creator of 5 Centimeters Per Second and Kimi no No wa and I've been meaning to watch it one of these days and Just wanted to hear your opinion on it ^^
And congrats man :) When did you start watching anime? I'm still pretty far from 100 completed but I probably won't reach it anytime soon since in the next month I have to find a part-time job and will probably be a lot more busy xD
And yeah I've completed a few shows recently like "My Teen Romantic Comedy " ReLIFE and Kekkai Sensen, Other than those I've just been watching shows that have been airing such as Akashic Records, Grimoire of Zero, AoT S2 and Shuumatsu Nani (The one with the really long name lol) And I've been good just been watching as much anime as I can before I get busy and playing a few games on steam nothing too exciting going on for me at the moment :)
How about you? Watch any good anime recently? ^^
And yeah I agree they are, I finished Overlord only recently since I was holding off on it for a while And I regret I didn't watch it sooner, It really was a great show now I need to wait for season 2 lol ^^
