It's my personal problem. I'm a better at reading text than I am at listening to words. Especially in English, which is not my native language - the difference is a lot milder in my native language. I could have spent some effort to correct this problem, but I do not feel the need to - all the things I want to read use written words, not spoken words.
I find listening to english speech quite tiring. Not as tiring as reading Japanese text using automated dictionary, but still tiring enough to make me angry when people refer to such sources. Especially because I am usually writing to forums when I don't have opportunity to watch video (that is, anime) or play games.

I don't remember the text version of that review in any detail, only that it was long and the part that I read consisted mostly of things I wanted to object to, but it wasn't a forum flame war, so I could not. So I got angry and stopped reading.

I did enough and tactfully so informing the standard to those who have yet to see SAO and made those who have recollect. What MAL wants can go ahead and fuck itself.

Samurai Champloo may be angled differently, but its animation is better and more elaborate than SAO's. But I guess saying that these two series' animation can't be compared (they're just two actions-oriented anime with swords and around the same number of episodes) is a convenient excuse that can avoid you from recognizing that you may be wrong and SAO doesn't deserve a 10 for its visuals. Care to explain why we couldn't possibly compare this? And as I said in my profile, sure I couldn't possibly say that Berserk's art is better than Mirai Nikki's, how could I?

Merely having fights on an anime don't make them comparable, Sword Art Online was nuanced as a summary with it's two arcs having a run down status. They could have eliminated the 2nd arc altogether and it wouldn't have been much better. It was launched from a marketing point of view and as that it sold. A-1 Pics was successful and there is no arguing there. Samurai Champloo wasn't angled this was and thus irrelevant.

Well that's what you think, I can agree to disagree. On my side of things you never approached SAO as how is meant but how you think things are meant and simply your point went across as a miss and didn't land anywhere.

I did write a review for SAO it just that I nuanced it to both the one who saw it and those who haven't, If you can't get any of that you got nobody else but you to blame.

Also, I could have talked about FMAb and Soul Eater for the animation (wait, I did for the latter). You want a LN adaptation with good visuals? The Monogatari series, Haruhi (two seasons of 12-13 eps), or Hyouka (22). And what do you think of Hanasaku Iroha in term of art and stuff (26 eps)? Shirobako (24)? Gits SAC (2x26)?

One Punch Man (Garbage to me on a personal level) whole purpose was to parody and FIGHT, With the addition of it being only 12 episode which allows for better quality. Bring to be another run down adaptation that can be comparable to SAO summation of arcs. Your comparisons aren't even relevant to SAO and frankly I don't know at this point if you're even trying to have an honest debate with such mediocre chicaneries for examples.

Get better at understanding things then come talk to me anytime. Your heart seems to be somewhere around the right place.
