I'm not a huge "gamer" guy tbh, I haven't really been invested in a single game for long (except for Clash of Clans maybe? lol). But Genshin Impact does seem super fun to me, so maybe I'll start playing it after I get a bit of free time.
Quite the opposite, actually. My exams are going to start tomorrow and I have had to study a ton to make sure I do well. I'm still quite anxious though.
Well, I really liked Kan, but there were a few minor issues with it to be honest. If you want to know about my descriptive opinion on Kan, you can read my review on it if you want. Here's the link:
Hahaha that's pretty funny. I had some weird usernames from my gaming days too so I completely understand. Tbh, I changed my username to PerfectAzul on a whim, and then immediately wanted to change it again. But the month-long cooldown got in my way. Eventually, everyone recognized me as 'PerfectAzul' and now I think it's not worth coming up with a new username.
For my foreign language classes in middle and high school, I took Spanish. And since 'PerfectBlue' was already taken as a username (big surprise lol), I just deferred to a bit of Spanish.
How about you? Does 'pandaeatboo' have any significance?
I haven't gone through all of Satoshi Kon's best works yet but the ones I haven't seen are on my watchlist. I have mixed feelings about him though at present. I mean, Perfect Blue was an absolute masterpiece (I highly recommend you watch it) and I haven't seen anything in the psychological genre that has come close to topping that work. However, Paprika was fairly good, Memories was good for only 1 out of its 3 parts, and I did not really enjoy Paranoia Agent.
So for recommendations, I would suggest going with Perfect Blue and then maybe watching Millennium Actress/Tokyo Godfathers if you're finding that you enjoy his vibe (I haven't seen either movie though so I can't really vouch for them). On top of those two, Paprika is also worth considering.
Oh ive watched it It was amazing! Im glad youre liking it
Rent a girlfriend is the only season anime im watching. I started One Piece and Im liking it
Oh btw what are your pronouns?
Yeah Chihaya's respect for Arata seems so superficial tbh. From what I've heard, there's nothing as bad as the Hunter x Hunter manga's release schedule haha, though the Attack on Titan manga is also pretty bad. I feel going anime only was the right move for Attack on Titan because Season 3 Part 2 was just worth waiting for and the series is on its way to wrapping up. I'm so damn hyped for the last season but I get a feeling it'll be pushed to 2021.
I'm also Team Taichi. RIP Team Taichi. May the manga never end so that no one gets the happy ending :C.
To be fair, you've gotta hate the bratty kid version of Taichi. But even still, high school Taichi really don't deserve that. You're right that Arata and Shinobu is actually the more realistic pair.
It's sort of cool though how the series takes a classic Japanese game that no one outside of Japan has ever heard of, and makes a mindblowingly good story out of it. Since I'm an anime only fan though, and Madhouse is the studio responsible for animating Chihayafuru, it'll probably be like 7 years before season 4 airs (if it even airs).
