My Story
I started watching anime around October of 2014 my buddy was going on about this anime series called naruto and i had previously only watched dragonball z when i was young, so he insisted i watch it , at the same my mom had been battling ovarian cancer for 3 years and she had just got news that she didn't have very much time left. So i got connected with naruto and the story of the will to fight and how he was able to still love his friends and those around him even though he didn't have a family, that night i swear i must have watched 50 episodes straight. unfortunately my mom passed about 3 weeks later, but in some weird way watching that show made her passing a little easier it really helped. Though now its just me and my two sister. I think the show represented strength and the will to stay strong no matter what happened and to do whatever you can to protect those around you. After i got all caught up i think i started watching more anime because it delivers that connection between you and the show , it takes you through a wave of emotions sometimes sad sometimes happy or whatever they may be but i was also intrigued by the way that we dont really have anything like that here in the US , maybe its japanese culture the loyalty , kindness , honesty, etc. Maybe its also cus i live in Los Angeles where everyones in there own little bubble and no one really has the time to see the beauty in life . Anyways enough of the mushy stuff.
I made a MAL account basically to find new anime but going from skating and now making music i don't really know where to start or what anime to watch so i just watch alot of random ones or ill go off the rankings, so i started adding a bunch of animes to my plan to watch that i want to eventually watch (i think haha ) and on my watching are animes that take priority and i want to watch soon.
im not to heavily critical due to if i finish the anime i think its pretty good although we cant always get what we want (coughs) some endings for example. Basically i figure if i watched the entire thing and i liked it its a 10 and if i watched the entire thing and kinda liked its a 9 . Basically i only put the 9s in there to show that the 10s are the ones i really liked lol.
so if you guys have any suggestions on shows please feel free to send me a message or add me as a friend and i can take a peek at your list i'm not really the type to put a show down but i will gladly take your advice on what you think is a good anime to watch
and if you actually took the time to read all of this thanks.

You can message me anytime about anything!
I'd love to talk about any topics with you.
I'll be glad to receive your messages!
So, what's your fave anime this season?
Keep safe!!
Anyway, if you need some help here, or about Anime/Manga, just ask me :D
Also, I read your story, and I am very sorry to hear about what happened to your mother :/ But I am glad that you watched Naruto and that it helped you (Naruto and Naruto: Shippuuden is an Anime that will always have a special place in my heart). So, yeah, just continue watching Anime and I am sure that it will help you go through hardships, just like what I am doing ^^
A word of advice, though: don't pile up your "Anime watching list".
Okay, hmm...let's see..~
I could list LOADS, but I'll just go with a few of my personal favourites c:
CLANNAD & CLANNAD After Story
Air TV
Angel Beats!
Gin no Saji
Death Note
Barakamon
Little Busters!
Lovely Complex
...maybe try those for now ^u^
Sure! :D I've been to quite a few c:
I imagine American events are a lot busier than the ones we have in the UK, but it's definitely a great experience! n.n whenever I've been, everyone is SO friendly! If people recognise your cosplay, they'll come up and start talking to you and vice versa, or even if you aren't cosplaying, people are more than happy to talk to you. There's always loads of stalls with food and merchandise and, if someone like me who can be can awkward arounds loads of people can enjoy and event with LOADS of them, anyone can! I really recommend you going if the chance comes up again :3
Just...make sure you save money! It's a huuuuugely expensive thing hahah :,)
By the way i dont mean to be so forward but have you every been to an anime or comicon convention? Seems the last anime convention here in los angeles took place during my birthday so i missed it a few days ago but i know there is still alot of events coming up either that or ill just go to little tokyo heand sulk up the environment lol. I have no idea what to expect ive been to skateboarding/surfing expos and even met alot of famous musicians thanks to a friend who shall remain nameless, but for some reason this makes me more nervous maybe because i have no idea what to expect?
Nice to meet you~~
