hi, i like books, movies, anime/manga, mainly when i can find complete series easily.
i am a Sydney sider in Australia if u didn't get that. currently enjoying anime with the anime@uts club even though i should be studying engineering... i dont put much effort into anime or entertainment, so unless friends/library/smart phone app has it i dont bother. im fairly new to manga. anime in my dropped list is not anime i dont like, just anime that im not currently watching and wont be putting any effort into any time in the near future( at least until ive cleared my plan to watch list). manga in dropped list i just got bored of. if its not obvious from my list i prefer anime thats comedy (also action) and not really serious with minimal nudity... eg ouran high host club, durarara, dbz, beelzebub. Still new to manga so I only read completed and prefer comedy or entertaining manga that is WELL DRAWN. HATE HATE HATE those complex love stories where characters spend chapters just thinking about how bad everything is when all they need is communication to fix things-(ch11-13 shinobi life) i don't give ratings or reviews because i generally watch anything and my opinion changes depending on my mood or what day it is so it really wouldn't be very fair. NOTE:slow pc, low quality internet security therefore rarley download or anything else like that and minimal understanding or torrenting/cracking etc. Member cards so far (im addicted to collecting them, they are sooo awesome!!!)   self made recommendation club member card addiction  BFF/CC/race cards/yukio/Badges/etc... just go to photobucket |

Introduction:
Hello there, friend!
We at the Australian & New Zealand Anime Club are proud to present... Our very first newsletter!
This community was founded on the 28th of January - 2015, and since that time we've come a very long way.
You are only reading this because YOU made it possible by being a very important piece of what makes this club what it is.
That said, we are happy to announce that we're coming close to reaching the 1,000 Member Milestone!
It's a wonderful thing to know that there are so many fellow Aussies and Kiwis who love Anime and we hope that we only continue to grow from here on out.
About the newsletter:
So you might ask, what's this newsletter all about?
Well, great question. We've scratched our heads a few times and figured that this newsletter will be dedicated to letting you know that we're active!
Despite the substantial growth of our club, there is still a handful of you that we still haven't had the pleasure of getting to know.
We want you to understand that this is a safe and fun club, but if you're shy then we're not going to force you to participate, this is simply to remind you that there is a place for everyone at this club, so if you ever warm up - come and say hi!
Here's what's happening right now:
We have a wide selection of club activities that you can participate in, from anime discussion to club games or casual conversation.
Anyone in the club is free to make up whatever thread they feel would interest people!
What we hopefully have planned for the future:
GFX Competitions, Giveaways, Club Member of the Month, Gaming Groups and more!
So, other than that, there isn't much to say this time around but hopefully the next time we have to do this, there is much more to look forward to.
We again are thankful to have you, and hope that you come and have some fun with us sometime soon.

I'm really sorry to not be sending out individual messages to you all, but unfortunately I don't know all of you ... and im lazy x'D
BUT i made this Valentines Day Event in order to get the chance to tell people how much they mean to me :)
Every single person in RACE means so much to me, I'm so happy you joined the club even if you aren't active (though you should be :P)
It means so much that you've stuck with me even when the club died for a bit.
I never imagined that my club would get so big. When i first started it I was hoping to even get 10 people. 20 was beyond my wildest dreams xD Now I'm above 1600!! I opened it just because i had joined mal and seen cards and wanted to try.
I probably shouldn't have made the club as early as i did .... but now I am so glad that I did C: Thank you to everyone that has joined the club, it's been such a pleasure to me watching the club grow and seeing the new people join.
Especially thank you to the people that joined at the very beginning. I'm not giving you a special message because i dont have time but I know who you are and you mean the world to me <3
