To explain it lightly, you know how long shoujo manga take for anything to really happen? Glasslip is like the first 20 chapters of a 100+ chapter shoujo manga, but it's anime original so you can't read about what happened next. They introduced the characters and told the audience about who loves whom and then it stops. There's also something about making glass and seeing into the future, but neither of those are really explained that well.
It was pretty bad. It was the worst full length TV anime I've watched. Even though it wasn't episodic it still didn't have a story. The art was good, though. It's a bit like if 5cm/s was dragged out for 5 times as long. At the end it seemed like they were trying to give it more of a story, but I feel like a sequel would be even more pointless.
A lot of people talk about, so I thought I should try it. If whatever backlogged anime I happen to be watching is relevant to the current anime threads then I will mention it. Glasslip is pretty much always relevant. A lot of the threads on Anime Discussion are about either good anime or bad anime and Glasslip easily fits into "bad anime".
haha heck yea, so ready to be done. I've been so focused on it that I haven't watched anime for the last month and a half now. Looking forward to finishing it in a few days then getting that anime grind on.
