This might help, but yeah, he did confirm that he won't try to add anything outside of what he knows for sure, but give the guy a little credit as an established author in his own right. He wouldn't have chose to continue in manga if he didn't think there was enough, I feel.

I wish they had released these 'two' chapters as one instead, then it really wouldn't have felt any different content, art, or even length wise to me. But I think they wanted to throw fans a bone and do a double.

Thankfully Berserk has had all the proper buildup it needs already, so I think it'll be mostly fine. I'm sure Mori did his homework too to at least add what's necessary, otherwise he wouldn't have tried to continue it in manga form.

There are no manuscripts, by the way; Mori just knows what Miura wanted and heard the general completed outline (that Miura has been following almost precisely for years now) and so he's trying to bring what he knows to life. But they are still fleshing out what needs to be; for example, I truly doubt Puck and the denizens of Elfhelm were explicitly explained by Miura for that one bit; so, it'll be fine, I think.

Mori couldn've just made a novelization or cliff notes or something, but he truly believed there was enough material to add into manga form, and he's pretty established himself as a mangaka, and truly loved Miura as much as the rest of us, and is doing for genuine reasons; I think it's safe to trust his judgement.
