I'm....very obviously, a Manga & Anime fan :) ..
My first anime was "Jungle Book"


which I started watching when I was 1 and a half years old, probably! Didn't know it was an anime! O_O...then Cartoon Network came on TV when I was 5..and I loved almost all cartoons. Finally, when I was 12..Toonami brought Pokemon, Bayblade, Dragon Ball Z, Cardcaptor Sakura etc and they just blown my mind. Since that time, I became an anime otaku(not in a horrendous meaning though..I have other things to do in life besides watching anime)! :D ..Finally, on July 5th, 2005(?) Animax was aired in India, it was the ultimate Anime delight for me! ^__^ . Now, I've recently started downloading various animes that I already saw or planning to see! All in all, anime is the most preferable visual platform for me! :)

One Punch Man: This precious and glorious series made me addicted to anime after 3 years of almost hiatus! Best comedy ever! Genos <3

Naruto/Naruto Shippuden (This is what got me into anime so it will always remain special even if I moved away from it pretty much, also this used to be my favourite. Nevertheless, live long Naruto & prosper!

Gintama (The BEST shounen & comedy ever! XD .. There is nothing to hate about Gintama, I'm completely addicted to it!)

Saiyuki(Gensomaden/Reload/Gunlock) (I just LOVE the no-nonsense story-line which devoid romance or unnecessary drama.. Not to mention, Kazua Minekura is my favourite mangaka! :)

Fate/Zero: Amazing animation and loved the story. P.s. Gilgamesh Best Char!


Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works (2014-15): same reasons but Fate/Zero still is superb in between the two.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (MINDF******** awesome!! Profoundly stands for the statement- 'Don't judge a book by it's cover'.. and the twists in the plot & the fact that it only consists of 12 episodes makes it one of the best anime ever made!


Chi's Sweet Home/New Address (This anime is too close to my heart since I have pet cats, one of the sweetest anime ever made! ^__^)


The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya(including, Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu) (Unique storyline, concept & characters.. m/)


5 Centimeters Per Second (I'm not at all a fan of 'romance' genre, but this movie is seriously moving & touching! ^_^ , Not to mention, the BEAUTIFUL art!)


Get Backers (yet another great anime with unique concept & awesome action scenes)


Samurai X (the best of samurai genre, as per me!)


Inuyasha (loved the story ^_^)


Aoi Bungaku (The portrayal of each story & the emotional depths- TOUCHING!)


Kuroshitsuji (Amusing concept, art style, Sebastian loves cats!!!!)


One Outs (BEST in the genre of 'mind-games' IMO)


Cardcaptor Sakura (One of my first anime, thus really close to my heart & the story is amazing of course!)


Neon Genesis Evangelion [Rebuild of Evangelion is more preferable] (Concept, Story, Characters.. etc etc.. Mindblowingly Good! ^_^)


Kara no Kyoukai (One of the rare 'gore/angst' that I liked! Leaves an imprint on the brain!)


Durarara (amusing concept! loved it!)


Fullmetal Alchemist (1 of the first anime that I've seen. Still love it!!)

I almost have stopped watching anime these days due to time shortage and interest shift. But the recent anime that I absolutely loves since the past 2 years is:
Zankyou no Terror (The realistic concept was amazing, maybe a bit dramatic and short but I agree with 1 tagline associated with it- the saviour of modern anime.. though I DESPISED the female char)

Thoughts On Anime:-
1)Anime and cartoons are animation, yes, but most anime are much serious than cartoons :)...it mostly have a proper moral, the characterization, story-line is definite...at times, they do surpass any real life series/movie etc..thus, think before making fun of someone who according to ignorant people- 'Still watches cartoon.'
2)The emotional depth, the impact of actions, special effects are much more pronounced on anime than in real life dramas.
3)All actors act superbly on anime. ^_^
4)It's boring to see the same real life human beings on tv or movies..anime brings a fresh breath to the brain.
5)I have contrasting & eccentric choice on anime! I don't like to watch all the good or famous series that are existing, but..sometimes I like one of the most popular series, sometimes I hate quite a number ful..or I might like very less known anime. Those which are my fav, I watch them over & over again. On that note, I LOVE Naruto and Gintama, but I don't like Bleach, One Piece or Fairy Tail. I liked Death Note, but it's not my ultimate fav, I liked some anime that were severely criticized by people & sometimes I agree with the majority's view. Oh, lastly, I'm a sucker for good art & graphics, sometimes this fact is far more important for me than story line :)...that was the reason I absolutely refuse to see One Piece, most of clamp's recent anime & many many more! ^_^
