You sound like a tour guide :P But sounds great to me. I've never been out west before, and Portland specifically really drives in an interest in me. I've lived in conservative areas all my life, so I can deal with a very liberal town, and it would probably be a nice change anyway.

The most important thing to me is living in a very urban neighborhood where basic essentials are within a couple blocks or a bus ride to somewhere. The fact that you wouldn't even need a car is excellent!

I don't drink very often, but the Brewpub sounds reasonably fun.

Hi, this is kind of random. But I noticed that your location says Portland Oregon. From the experience of an actual native; what's it like over there?

How are the people, the economy, the environment, etc?

Late response, but thanks for the respect. I'm even still shocked at how much anime exists as well, it's truly staggering. I can only hope people expand their tastes to try as see as much as they can stand to and hope to avoid burnout.
