There definitely were some good jokes, but it was just the general consistency of bad humor and some jokes just being complete duds for me. Anyways, I read your review and can respect your points. I actually quite liked the side characters, but yeah, they were mostly one note. Especially Kosuke, but he managed to win me over actually in the few final episodes. Both his and Kanade's presentations in ep. 10 are some of the most memorable moments in the show for me. Both of their character's personalities were highlighted well in them. Kosuke is passionate to a point where he can overcome the fact that he isn't as dedicated to science like his peers, in a way that's how he ends up belonging in the lab. The contrast between him and Kanade is stark, she really is the only normal one in the lab. It made me value one thing about the show, the characters are consistent, and they experiences they're having are actually impacting them and their research. So yeah, I guess the side characters did add value to the show, at least for me.

I read the raws online. The translators stopped translating the series after the 6th chapter, so I read the japanese version. You can find the torrents for the raws in nyaa.

Junji Ito's works are even more disgusting tbh.

I could probably have said the same somewhere else instead of making it into an anime review but I felt like more people would see it this way, and Eromanga-sensei was the primary example of it at the time it was airing

I thought from your comments that what Alice or Alice had was all chibi art, it's bot bad, but poor execution.

The art IS good but the OST just shrugs me off, it's all about differing views.

Thanks, I know how you feel. I was mad at first too, then I realized that if an anime like citrus receives tons of hate then reviewers tend to cast off any need for unbiased analysis and would rather rant. That's sort of what the review section for citrus looks like, who has the loudest rant… oh well we can enjoy it in peace. I'm just glad people are reading my review and knowing its not some kind of crime to enjoy it.

Hey, uh, just wanted to tell you that your voice actor theory on Jinsei was a lie. I researched those actors and they definitely did more anime before Jinsei. The only thing I agree with you is episode consistency, but in terms of plot, rather than broadcast dates.

People are heated when it's something they love.
Something can be actually bad, but because they've decided it's good...they will go to the ends of the earth for it.
