lol, when it comes to BL the bar for me is very low. but theres definitely still a lot of works i tend to avoid or just pass over. nakamura-kun is definitely one of my all-time faves of the genre. if you've ever watched/read ranma 1/2 it has a really similar art style and it's SO refreshing to see some slapstick comedy BL since everything is normally so serious all the time. i can't say i've read any other BL quite like it yet.

thanks! i feel like ive gotten a lot pickier than i used to be, but the end result is watching/reading better stuff lol. except when it comes to my guilty pleasure genres. how are you liking blue period so far? ive been thinking about starting that for a while

Yeah Zetman is a great manga, amazing art, very complex story. The anime doesn't really do it justice, but it is pretty decent for the runtime, but they try to cram in too much.

It's actually not bad, but I think some of the battles could be more interesting and its hard to care for a lot of the characters. Also the villains this time around are just evil for no reason. It would be better if they were morally grey characters on each side like the first series.
