I'm back bois! (getting into manga, putting a halt on anime)
FAQ
My ratings are all relative since all anime are flawed in some way, no exception. So a 10 does not necessarily mean it is a complete masterpiece.
I enjoy most of the anime I watch, even if they are rated extremely low. My average score is a bit low because I'm trying to make a clearer distinction between ones that I really enjoyed versus ones I thought was ok. Note: I used to rate anime very high, so many are subjected to be rewatched and rescored.
In order of importance when I rate anime:
Overall enjoyment relative to other anime (similar genre).
Characters and character development
Animation
Plot/Setting
Music
Before you decide to flame me for ranking plot second to last, lemme just explain real fast. Most of the times, anime are supposed to help you relax, so having too solid of a plot is not always necessary
Yes animation is very important to me. I find it very hard to focus if the animation turns me off. Not saying that anime without good animation is bad, because overall enjoyment is still the most important. However, a good animation is always nice to have
10 = Only top 10 anime. Most of the time, they require some thinking to fully understand or notice certain aspect of the plot.
9 = Overall very well produced and very enjoyable to watch (again, score is relative).
8 = Pretty enjoyable, would rewatch it, but have lesser priority. Most of the times, potential 9s get dropped down here due to certain minor flaws (bad ending)
7 = Decent, need at least a 7 for it to have any rewatch value. Satisfied with mostly everything, either bad execution or
6 = Meh, could've been a lot better in some ways. Usually it gets a 6 due to predictable plot or too much cliche
5 = Average, didn't have too much of an impact, vaguely remember.
4 = Below Average, didn't really like it. I don't hate tsundere as a whole, but some are just really annoying and that would cause it to get a score of 4 or below.
3 = Plain bad, but if it has some nice titties, it would get at least a 3
2 = Horrible, who would actually watch this and enjoy it?
1 = When they made this anime, did they actually have any expectation that it would be popular or something? Or I just strongly have something against it.
In order for me to not write a whole review on why they are my favorites, I'll try to keep it brief and state only the more vital reasons.
Sora no Otoshimono
This is the first anime I have ever watched, so it will always have a place in my heart <3
Golden Time
Great character development, you can see how each characters grow and how they overcome their obstacles. In addition, it portrays life as not perfect, there will always be a time when everything is not going well, but you have to take actions to reach a resolution.
One of the problem many anime runs into is that although its first few episode is interesting and engaging, as the season goes on, it gets exponentially more boring. Golden Times, despite being two season long (24 episodes), has enough plot twist, details, and events to keep me interested and engaged throughout. Despite the underlying depressing and serious tone (no spoilers), the injection of jokes are always at the right time to make audience actually enjoys watching it.
I want my Linda <3 Q.Q
The OST is so relaxing and is always played at the right time that it hits you right in the feel.
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru
Hachiman and his perception on the society around him is so relatable you would think the story is about you in high school. He is very pessimistic as a person, but his conversation with others are so enjoyable because of it. In addition, his reasoning for his actions and conclusions are so ridiculous, yet logical you would wonder why hasn't anyone else pointed this out?
Great OP and ED, really brings out the slice of life theme.
Ben-To
I have so much to say about this anime but the most important reasons why it is my favorite all boils down to this anime's theme of pride, self-discovery, and self-identity.
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed
I never really liked Gundam francise, but Gundam Seed gives off a completely different vibe. This anime, without a doubt, contain many plot hole. Nonetheless, it is on my favorite list because of the character development. Kira Yamato, the MC, started off as a self-insecure crybaby, ended, although still somewhat of a crybaby, as someone who is strong-willed and confident in his decisions
The way this anime is produced makes the lead up to the vital plot point very short, but heavily emphasis on it once it occurs. It really depicts the importance of a certain action, otherwise, it would just be ignored.
Toaru Majutsu no Index
What I got out of this anime was to never judge a book by its cover and that no matter how insignificant you may feel in the world, you will have an impact on someone. If you really think you don't, then do something about it.
Btooom
I really liked this anime because of the portrayal of kindness despite the violent situation happening.
Really makes you question certain aspect of the plot, but are insignificant enough to not affect the plot too much
Favorite of each season
When I first started watching anime, I was just watching any anime I've heard about. I only really got into watching anime while they are airing around 2013, so that's where this list is going to start from.
Note that the favorite of each season here is only based off of what I liked AT THE TIME. I might like another anime from the same season better now, but this is a representation of what I've liked in the past, even when my taste is shit, so please don't roast me too hard.

No I can't read japanese. However, there is a reddit user by the name of frog kun who translates each volume and summarises it, I can send you the links if you want.
I liked it, there weren't animes as good as the past season, but New Game!, Momokuri, Amaama and, well, 91 days were nice, I liked them, yet I want to finish most of my watching ones

Yh I hope it comes out this year. Gonna be a good season and I say this since I have read the LN :D
I have read both volume 12 and 13 and so much stuff happens, this season is gonna be the best.
The last volume (14th) still has to come out and most likely after that we will get a release date for the anime.
The anime will cover the last 3 volumes which will conclude the series. Season 3 will be the last.
