Thanks for the awesome response! So embarrassing I misspelled his name like that...will have to correct asap! Really hoping we get a season 2 announcement soon, but based on what they said concerning bluray sales, it might not be until after the second volume releases in June. A potentially long wait but I'm damn confident we'll receive good news.

I'm excited for a season 2 with a potentially larger budget and improved animation skills. You can really tell they were finding their footing early on and improved so much by the end. Being a finale, it was likely given more love, but just compare something like Noi and Nikaido's fight in episode 3 with Kaiman and Nikaido's fight in episode 12. If the first episode of season 2 can begin as high of quality as episode 12 of season one, it'll be a glorious season.

Thanks again for such a huge comment, I'll always be here ready to discuss anything Dorohedoro and speculation on season 2. It was topping the charts on Netflix at a point, has pretty huge sale preorders on its blurays (and they're real expensive) and has had a ton of store/merch collaborations that all did quite well. It's definitely doing a lot better (in Japan) than talk/buzz online from English fans might lead you to believe.
