Sorry for the late reply. I had exams to study for.
I don't want Chelsea of all clubs to have that double pivot of him and Enzo, it'd be a nightmare. I do wonder if Chelsea would be willing to spend the amount that Brighton have set on him, but knowing them at this point it isn't a forlorn thought.
Chelsea absolutely will spend that much I think. I'm not sure why they backed out of the Ugarte deal because he would also be a good pivot with Enzo. He played against us in the Europa League last season(Sporting) and he was definitely one of the best players on the pitch in that match. Yh I'm prepared for Chelsea to do something next season because I can't keep pretending that their players aren't good and they won't be playing in Europe so that could be big. Would be interesting to see if Poch is given patience tho. Tuchel and Potter were sacked prematurely IMO.
I also think Tierney could be on his way out with Timber's arrival.
NOOOO. Would be sad to see one of my favorite players go to Newcastle of all teams(that's the only club he's strongly linked to I think) If we get the right price, I would begrudgingly sell him. It's plain to see that he's not comfortable in the role that Arteta wants him to play. Maybe we could tweak our system to accommodate him? Yh excited about Timber. I have in my FM save with Arsenal so I was excited when I saw the news.
ESR balled at the Euro, too; I think that'll be a good confidence boost.
Yh I had the opportunity to watch the chaotic final and ESR didn't have much of an impact. He made some good one-twos and I still think that Arteta's plan is for him to be more central. Maybe as one of the left 8s in rotation with Havertz? Can't wait for preseason to finally get a picture of how we will play next season. Yh I think the most important thing for Tomi is just to stay fit. He's had two season-ending injuries now. I really hope he can come back to the form he had in his first season tho. Arteta might even have plans for him to play as a left-back like he did against Liverpool earlier last season.
Oh yeah, I loved DnA! I still remember when I read as it updated; good times.
Yep. I'm quite obsessed with DnA and just sports series in general. I've heard of Cross Game and Touch and I plan on reading/watching them at some point so it's nice to get an idea of what to expect. Reading DnA weekly seems painful lol.

But I''ll take it lol. I don't think he's THAT good but it might just be recency bias because of the poor season chelsea just had. I hope he does well
