100th Anime-Colorful (movie)
How I rate:
- 10. A+ Masterpiece. Incredibly well-executed, original, and supremely enjoyable. Exhibits fantastic artistry, warrants deep engagement thematically and emotionally and has had staying power that has enriched my life long after viewing. They don't have to be perfect, but these are my absolute favorites, and are usually considered foundational classics for their genres.
- 9. A Excellent. Well-executed, usually original or ground-breaking but very enjoyable. Are often artistically interesting, if not quite as thematically engaging as it could be. Will often have staying power, and are usually among my favorites. Some flaws, but worth pointing to as truly great.
- 8. A/B Very Good. Artistically interesting, often quite original, and extremely enjoyable. A mixture of classics that have a few problems, or works I really loved that I recognize have excusable flaws.
- 7. B Good. Artistically ok, if not among the most original. A lot of classics I just couldn't fully enjoy but appreciated, and works that had notable flaws but accomplished notable feats none the less.
- 6. B/C Decent. Artistically adequate, often somewhat cliche but well done. This includes some classics I consider a bit overhyped, and series I really liked but couldn't look pass some glaring problems.
- 5. C Average.* Artistically subpar, not extremely original, or poorly-executed concepts. It includes a few classics I think are quite overrated, and some series I really like but admit are highly flawed. Anything below a 5 I wouldn't recommend watching.
- 4. C/D Bad. Artistically maladroit, usually extremely predictable/boring/forgettable. A few I enjoyed despite acknowledging how bad they were.
- 3. D Very Bad. Artistically, well not a word to describe these in any form. Often completely forgettable and cornily cliche. I don't actively hate these, I just think they're bad. Some of them are enjoyable for the wrong reasons, though.
- 2. F Atrocious. I hated these. Marred execution. Horridly problematic, not even fun to watch.
- 1. Expelled for Academic Misconduct Deplorable. Very, very badly executed, and usually, it was an awful idea to even try. Legitimately painful to watch and ugly in every sense of the term. It takes a special kind of awful for me to give it a 1, a true accomplishment. These should have never been made, and their existence genuinely angers me.
*Although the average score of anime I've watched usually hovers at around 6, I do mean 5 to be an average. Like almost everyone, I tend to select anime to watch that I think I will like, so the sample of scored anime is not random. I would expect somewhere around 5 to be the average score I would give if I were to just randomly select a bunch of anime, or watch all of them.

I was really excited for it when I first saw it, but my excitement is slowly drying up. It's kind of unfortunate. I'm still holding out hope though, because I genuinely enjoyed the beginning.
I am! I enjoy it alright so far, I'm not caught up though. I think it takes a bit too long to set up story elements and go through games. Having another somewhat realistic basketball anime is always good though. I think the fact that Ahiru no Sora takes time to explain even the basic aspects of basketball is useful for viewers who may not have played before, which I enjoy. I don't see others talking about it either lol; what are your thoughts on it?
better soundtracks, better animation, I hate the new animation I am a fan of classic anime, better Voice Actors also better colors have been used in the new version
