I guess it's because I could relate to Shishio in some way. I hurt a girl before, then realized my mistakes but it was already too late.

I could literally feel Shishio's pain in certain panels in the manga. It's the only romance I've seen where the MC suffers the consequences of his actions.

Anyway, you seem to be a fan of romance too, what's your favorite anime and manga ones? I'm always open to watch good recommendations.

If you're still looking for good shounen ai manga, I just read Bokura no Shokutaku and really enjoyed it. It was cozy and sweet.

I usually find and read yaoi manga on myreadingmanga.info
it has shounen-ai, yaoi, doujinshi, and some pretty sick stuff, so watch out for that. just filter them through the tags (like archiveofourown) and you'll be fine

You made a pretty good point there. When you say it like this, he could have just asked her if she was willing to wait instead of just breaking it straight up. Ahh damn it.

Yeah they sure are polar opposite, just wished she wasn't that bland of a character.
haha maybe we just see it differently since I do like her personality more than Suzume
(probably since she's pretty observant of Shishio's emotions)
