Thank you for taking time to reply the way you did. I appreciate it and I return to you your compliments ;)
Generally speaking, it’s easy to misinterpret people when discussing over a screen because you never know what tone they are speaking in.
I understand now your base of judgement and I would say it’s totally legit.
There are many animes that I enjoyed watching and that would be judged as bad by many others. For example, Gundam Wing was the first Mecha anime that I watched and by that time I was totally absorbed by its atmosphere and still today I think it’s one of the best. Maybe if I rewatch it toay, my view would differ. But my first impression was “wow”.
Maybe if I watched akame ga kill in another time I would have gave it a better grade. I gave it 5, but reading your comment, I think I was too harsh on it.
Anyway reading your comment was really enriching. I remembered that overall impression can differ based on many aspects…
Thanks mate.
Ps: I think if you liked Akame ga kill, “maybe” you can like Claymore.
Hi mate,
No offence intended.
Tastes differ. Absolutely! You can give whatever grade you want to Akame Ga Kill. I didn’t judge that. :)
What I said is that I don’t understand your base of judgement. I’m curious to know what makes you say that Akame Ga Kill worth 10.
From my point of view, Akame Ga kill had a great potential to begin with. However, the dark story background faded very soon to make place to a linear and light plot full of anime cliché:
a young naive guy in a harem trying to get along with a girl with a dark background, the young guy follows the path of an older overly masculine guy who died while protecting him. All this not forgetting that Akame Ga Kill tried to include funny scenes without really succeeding.
AOT also has a lot of cliché, but when you compare point by point Akame Ga Kill to AOT, for me, AOT wins every time.

If there was ever such a thing as a bad opinion it came from an AoT fan.
