I just finished FMP S1 and it sucked. Tessa was the only good character and she gets ignored for 5/6 of the anime. The mecha fight scenes were boring as hell and the mechs looked like a robot copied from every other mecha out there, but dulled down to look less exciting and fun. I also learned that they were powered by an innovative machine that makes them stronger when you're mad. Ooh. Cool. Kaname was annoying and bitchy and her face was ugly. Good thing the supporting characters made up for her - oh wait! They didn't! The supporting characters were like moving wallpaper that occasionally spoke generic and uninteresting phrases while managing to die all the time The plot? Well whatever. I'll pretend Tessa was the plot - because anything could replace it - seeing as it was nonexistent. The animation made me want to puke in the sink, and I even watched this in Blu-Ray quality (more like QUALITY). I actually found the english dubs more enjoyable, because then I could multitask and do something worthwhile while I watched this. Oh! And the award-winning dialogue that ranged from "I'll help you" to "Will you really help me?" which was usually followed by a "Yes, I will really help you." Genius! Nevertheless a "Thank you for your help" would follow almost directly after.

Now right now it sounds like I really hate this anime, I don't. I found it was just really boring (the execution on EVERYTHING was just wrong. The filler episodes were the most enjoyable part of a mecha anime? They fucked that up...) Just not my slice o' cake. Hopefully S2 and Fumoffu will prove better.

thanks bro, I did forget GitS:SAC. and I am worth it, but srsly, I'm only 6 pages into a 10 page paper thats due in 10 and a half hours. so I really cant now per se. but soon.
