I'd say I liked Kobato's ending. It followed a bit the same theme as Cardcaptor's ending, which I didn't hate either.
When I said "The one only for me" I was talking about Chobits. It's a recurring theme in the manga and anime, especially in the picture book Chii reads throughout it. What turned you off may be the near constant ecchiness and nudity(manga) perhaps...kind of stops midway so it's not too bad.
All 3 days? :( That's not too fun.
And it was snow/rain/hail all morning....at least it melted immediately. Still was quite cold (2-5C)...winter didn't want to leave.
Clamp manga sure does give people a hard time sometimes,; their plot isn't always easy to understand, or there's stuff that might scare away some people (especially in Cardcaptor). But I do love their art, especially the one used in Kobato, Chobits and Sakura-Cardcaptor, so I'm trying to read the most out of them. Chobits had a rather good ending I'd say,
I rather liked the story of Chobits. Human and Computers. The One only for me. Had some pretty emotional moments as well. I'd say try it one day if you ever feel like reading a rather ecchi at first, but pretty emotional romance. Or watch the anime, they're almost identical.
Good luck clearing that backlog though. I hope you get some time to do so.
There's a long weekend coming? Didn't know....I'm usually busy even on holidays, so I kind of lose track of those. If I do have enough free time, I'll probably do a small sightseeing trip or something. Or stay inside and read manga. Depends on the weather I guess.
Have any plans yourself?
As for the weather here, well spring is here since we broke some heat records lately, with temps in the 20-28C and no rain for almost a week. But there's going to fall some snow tonight O_O (2C).....I guess its the last we'll see. I sure hope so.
I know how having a cap feels...so I know what you mean. I just can't be bothered to change my ISP even though it costs me over a 100 dollars per month at times...
I've been doing well. Recently started watching/reading a few CLAMP stuff, such as Chobits, Cardcaptor, Angelic Layer, etc. Guess I can't help liking that character art and design. As for life, well, same old I guess. Full time work all the time. Not many changes in the past months, besides getting more and more scarce on MAL.
btw, how was winter where you live? Had enough snow this year compared to last year? ^_^ We had over 280cm.....I saw snowflakes yesterday as well.
